TiffanyColora Henna Powder "black Noir"I used this product about two weeks ago, and was not satisified with the outcome. I would like to use HerbalShine color creme, but the box says do not use over "compound henna". Is that what this product is?Reply to this postJan 7, 2012Link to this post

LauraEustis, FlDoes Anyone Know......I use a Keratin treatment on my hair (which is color treated). If I use the Colora Henna product on my hair, will using both these products cause "unexpected" or detrimental results?Reply to this postMay 15, 2011Link to this post

PeriWashington, DCFrom My Experience...As someone who's been using henna for 4 years, getting keratin treatment did almost nothing for my hair. I have naturally tight waves, which tend to get frizzy in the summers, so I tried out the keratin treatment... what I got was more unmanageable hair, because the waves could no longer be styled in a piece-y way. The stylist said that my hair had been too saturated with the proteins of the henna to respond to keratin. Not sure if you'll get unexpected results, but you may not get the full impact of the products, which could leave you in an odd half-way state. Though with color, it may at least give you a hint of a shade...May 30, 2011Link to this post

Nara S.New JerseyColor AdviceI want to make my hair shiny. Which color do I have to pick for coating effect?Reply to this post

RoseeHenna AdviceHenna will not lighten your hair, it merely coats it. You can use any color you like. If you want your hair to have a faint red shine in the sun, use the red. But any of the colors will work to coat it and make it shiny. The black may have a harsh effect so I wouldn't recommend it. Brown would be the safest.
