Marcia V.San Francisco, CAWet Or Dry Hair?So you apply the color to wet or dry hair? I'm a bit confused. Is it okay to wash your hair with just shampoo, let it dry, and then apply the color? help please!Reply to this postApr 16, 2011Link to this post

DanaSouthern CaliforniaDry Hair Application Is BestYou should apply this mixed with the appropriate developer on dry, unwashed hair for the best results. Do not wash your hair either, when rinsing out the color (after processing)...just just a conditioner and leave on for 2 minutes then wash out. Its ok to wash your hair after at least 24 hours, but better if you wait an extra day and just use conditioner through it for the first day after.Jun 20, 2011Link to this post

StephNYWill It Work With Bleached Hair?I've been bleaching my hair for a few months and now I've decided I want to go with a more natural looking light blonde. When I tried using a hair dye from the drug store my hair came out looking like and ashy-blonde, almost gray looking color so I wound up bleaching it again. I don't know if the hair dye was really cheap or my hair just didn't hold the color or what. I was wondering if this hair dye would leave have the same results or can I trust that this will work?Reply to this postMar 18, 2011Link to this post

Lisa H.How Do I Tone Blonde Highlights?I recently put highlights in my hair. I would like to put a blonde over the top to tone and make shiney. Should I use semi permanant or permanant in a 10 volume? I tested a piece with semi permanant and it did't seem like it did much. Don't know if permanant will lift the other colors in between my highlights to much. Please help. ThankyouReply to this postOct 25, 2010Link to this post

DominicTampaJust Go To A Pro!Yes, you need to mix the tube of color with the appropriate volume of developer. This is exactly why hair color should best be left for the professionals. Just applying the tube of color will not only be extremely messy, it will not do anything. It needs to be mixed with developer to activate. I could only recommend the appropriate volume developer if I knew which level your hair color is now, which color you would like it to be, and which shade you purchased. Using the incorrect volume can result in extreme hair damage. You may think you're saving money by coloring your own hair, but you will inevitably pay for it later.Sep 25, 2010Link to this post
