HeatherBlack DyeI dyed my hair black with Garnier 100% Colour about a month a a half ago. It has faded a lot, but the colour is still there and I hate it. I have read that the only way to get black dye out is with bleach or stripping the colour, 2 things I am not too keen on doing. So will Colorfix really work on removing black permanant hair dye?Reply to this postJan 19, 2010Link to this post

NicoleToo BlondeYou can get rinses that will tone your yellow down at a beauty supply store...also there are natural remedies that Im not quite sure of!! But you dont have to go to a professional...also....you Could re dye with a wheat blonde....which has no potential for turning yellow.Feb 25, 2010Link to this post

ElinRemoval Of Hair ColorI want to remove haircolor from my hair. But am not sure if this product will work. I had a really bad experience at this hair salon, they totally ruined my hair! I have natural black hair. Anyhow, I got highlights, but they turned out horrible. The hair stylist overbleached my hair and it turned a nasty yellow. So, I ended up covering the nasty yellow highlights with a darker haircolor, which was dark burgundy. It turned out good and covered all of the yellow. But then its fading to a yucky light brown. I dont want to go over it with another hair color. If I use this product will it be able to remove the dye that I added on? And is it easy to use? I would like to give my hair a much needed rest from coloring, I really wanna try to get back my natural hair color.Reply to this postJan 19, 2010Link to this post

Michelle E.New YorkDo Not Use Loreal Color RemoverI tried that Loreal remover stuff & my hair ended up bright yellowy orange...remember the days of using "sun-in"? kinda like that. Anyway I tried to recolor it after that & it turned out really bad...all different tones & some of it stayed that bleached look. I went to Sally Beauty & bought the color fix & now my hair is a nice honey browm color even before recoloring it. I had my doubts when checking the hairs mid-way through the process & I started to see that sun-in color coming through, but the end results were great. I am still going ahead & dying it later today back to brown. My experience was awesome & I highly recommending talking to your Sally Beauty rep. (or other store rep). She gave me all the right stuff to have a sucessful at home experience!Sep 12, 2010Link to this post

SilviaConnecticutHelpI have no idea what my natural color is - I believe its a medium flat brown with no highlights. My hair is shoulder length and halfway down it has reddish highlights that I hate I guess from years of coloring and buildup. I want to lighten my hair but dont want to bleach it. Does any one know if using this will take all this crappy color out of my hair, so maybe I can lighten it afterwards? Does this just take out haircolor or does it lighten your own hair. I am confused. I want to be a very light sandy brown. What should I do? My hair has a tendency to pick up red tones and I despise them.Reply to this postJan 19, 2010Link to this post

HairwomanHelpHi, remember color market users!! color will not lift color, meaning..if you put a color, undesired results.. dont just go back to drugstore and buy another color to try to get rid of the ugly one you had before. instead, just go to the professional hair colorist to have it fixed. Even if you have to spend more money than you thought. now a days..there are many options in how to remove any type of hair color from your hair. sometimes, Powder bleach with hydrogen peroxide is not really necessary..but only the professional licensed hairStylist know how to remove unwanted color..its a long process though! remember "together a passion for hair" beautiful shining looking hair. live with it.Feb 25, 2010Link to this post
