      Complete Instructions
have bleached my hair for 14 years.

      1. only put bleach on hair that is dry.
      2. use packets of Jerome Russell Bleach Powder ( 25 mg) Found them to be the least harmful to my hair.
      3. Use only creme peroxide from a beauty supply: they come in 20, 30, and 40 strength. If you want white use the 40, if you want light blonde gold color use the 30, it depends on how light you want your hair.
      4. Do not use peroxide from the grocery store. Not the same.
      5. The length of time you use will depend on the lighter you want it. I need white so keep the bleach on 45 minutes. I use the 40 because my hair was almost black.
      6. Use a timer. The first time you bleach you will probably not get the color you are shooting for as you need to experienment. Time your first setting for if light hair already for 10 min. If it is not dark enough wait 48 hours after shampooing and rebleach using another added 10 minutes to your first time for bleaching.
      7. Use your regular shampoo and creame rinse. ( does not matter brand)
      8. Do not recommend using a product that is says it will take the yellow out. Found they create more yellow if you are going for white. Sames goes for the expense shampoo that claims it helps get yellow out. Have not found one that doesn't yellow my white.

Hope this helps those who are first timers.

      Directions?
First of all if you do not know the answers to your questions you SHOULD NOT be bleaching you own hair? That said you never wash your hair 2-3 days before bleaching......always use on dry hair .....do not brush your hair and scratch your scalp either ...........this causes pain and burning. DO NOT USE HYDROGEN PEROXIDE FROM ANY OLD STORE ......i REPEAT DO NOT USE HYDROGEN PEROXIDE. To professionals like myself we know what this means. Use a developer meant for bleach. Never use HOT water nor COLD use Luke warm water. After applying this to your hair it should take 20-30 min to process just keep checking the color or lack there of.

Can One Use Hydrogen Peroxide From The Grocery Store?
Have bleached my hair for going on 14 years.

      1. No you cannot use hydrogen peroxide from the grocery store.
      2. Use on hydrogen from the beauty supply. Comes in 20, 30, & 40.
      3. You do not need heat. If you leave the peroxide in for 10 minutes or more depending on the darkness of your hair this will give you a color you can begin to work with and next time add 10 min more until you get your desire color.
      4. No your hair will not fall but take care to use natual coconut oil to revitalize it a week after bleaching. This keeps it from becomeing dry. I just buy the cocomut oil from the health food section in the cooking section. No need to get other ingredients with it. It will not go rancid. This is good thing about pure organic coconut oil. Only use this and it keeps my hair shiney and in great condition.

recommend only bleaching once a month as to keep the roots done and only once every 3 to 6 months do the whole hair to even out the bleach color.

      Hope this helps.

      Use As Directed
Hydrogen Peroxide that's in the store is about 1% concentrated. The product for bleaching the hair comes in a different concentration. So, buy their product, which seems economical.

The hydrogen peroxide that's in the drug store is for minor cuts and not for hair bleaching.
