  • Just A Few Tips
Neutrogena triple moisture is a great mositurizer to use after aphogees 2 step treatment too. I also used aphogees balancing moisturizer. I think after this treatment it is a good idea to use a leave in conditioner too. I also like nexxus products and i make sure i take vitamins like beta carotene, vit d and vit a and especially biotin

  • After Aphogee Treatment Use Mizanni Kerrafuse Conditioner
Ladies, If you want really soft hair after the Aphogee treatment use Mizannis Kerrafuse conditioner, yes it is very expensive BUT it works. I saw breakage so I applied the aphogee treatment set under the dryer with a good book afterwards i applied the kerrafuse conditioner set under the dryer for 10 more minutes and then wraped my hair and set back under the dryer.( yes this takes an hour just to condition my hair ) but what is an hour to have soft hair FREE from Breakage. I do my treatment every 6 weeks to the day. every two weeks I do a 10 minute kerrafuse treatment and have my ends trimed with every relaxer. END RESULT NO MORE BREAKAGE!!!!!

  • Works - When Used Properly
I have been using this treatment for years. I use it AFTER relaxing not before. I use it the first wash after I have touched up my hair. I dont use it the week before the touch up, too much new growth and detangling would be extremely difficult after a 12 week stretch. This product does NOT "strip" your relaxer. It is impossible to undo the relaxer process since relaxers permanently alter the structure of the hair shaft. How can that be "undone" with this treatment ???? What this treatment does is provide some much needed support to the weakened hair shaft after the relaxer process has been done. Resulting in stronger hair less prone to breakage. Just make sure you use a MOISTURIZING conditioner afterwards. I have seen some suggestons with more protein based conditioners which would cause protein overload which results in dryness and breakage. Check conditioner labels for keratin, collagen, any form of protein.

  • Application
I prefer what I call the layered application method. I part my hair, smooth some Aphogee onto it, comb it, section another portion, smooth it on and comb through and repeat until complete. I start from the nape of the neck to the front. I feel that Ive been thorough in my application of the product when I do it that way. I dont get wet spots near the scalp whereas the outer application is ready to be rinsed out. Also, I read a review on this site where someone said they shampoo it out. You arent supposed to do that. Just rinse and apply the moisture cream for a few minutes and youre done. I like to apply jojoba oil on my scalp after the moisturizer is rinsed out, comb it through and sit under the dryer for a few minutes. Im just using this site as a way to say more about this product. I really cant say enough. My hair is amazing to me due to this product!

  • Aphogee Use As Directed
If you do NOT follow these directions, you will break your hair...... 1. Apply in sections, quickly 2. Do NOT bother your hair once Aphogee begins to dry 3. Sit under dry and do NOT move hair 4. Rinse THOROUGHLY. Let the WATER soften hair do NOT agitate hardened hair. AGAIN, RINSE THOROUGHLY 5. Follow with a moisterizer. Very important !
