Ms. PrassWill This Work For Dry Relaxed Hair?i have dry, relaxed hair and from my understanding protein left in the hair can and does dry hair out which would only aggrivate my current condition, how is this product able to combat the drying effects of protein? Would you suggest using a moisturizer in additon to this?Reply to this postJan 19, 2010Link to this post

HaleyIndianaNot A MoisturizerThis is a reconstructor, and a bit of a heavy duty one at that because keratin is the second ingredient. Keratin is the protein that hair is made out of and this product helps repair damaged hair from things like bleaching, over coloring/processing, and heat exposure. Therefore, if your hair is not damaged, and is only dry, then this will make your hair dryer. I used this and it tangled my hair up sooooo much it was ridiculous, but that was my fault; I didn't realize there was so much keratin in it, and I didn't really need it. But when I bleach my hair in two weeks I'll be so happy I have it!!!!Jun 2, 2011Link to this post

Part Hair In SectionsI would suggest that you part your hair in sections and let someone else do it for you. You hair gets stiff and a little brittle when you spray all your hair at once and makes it hard to manange. But if you part then spray and then put a rolller or blow dry that section be fore it airs dry it works much better. Though your hair is a lil stiff when wet once its dry iss soft and manageable. The only reason it makes our hair stiff and hard is because of the protein and vitamins.Reply to this postJan 11, 2010Link to this post
