JessiWhat Do You Do?im trying to ask, when do you put it in? b4 straightening or after, or both? and does your hair stay straight over night(up to 2-3 days?)Reply to this postJan 19, 2010Link to this post

BeaAnswerYou put it in before you blow dry your hair... So I will do the steps
1. Obviously you take a shower
2. Wrap your soaked hair in the towel... brush it before
3. Leave your hair in the towel for approx. 10 minutes! :)
4. Remove the towel from your head and brush your hair
5. Apply 1-2 pumps to palm and rub hands together
6.Distribute evenly into hair as if your were brushing your hair with your hands.
7. You may choose to brush your hair
8. Blow dry your hair and that's it! :)
It's really easy and fast you will be shocked! :)Dec 24, 2010Link to this post

NatashaCan It Stand The 450 Degree Power Of The Solia?I just ordered my Solia Tourmaline Ceramic Flat Iron today and actually already own this redken smooth down product, the biosilk shampoo, conditioner, and silk therapy, not to mention I take 2500mcg of Biotin everyday. I am trying to restore the health of my hair after the 5 years of using a cheep conair flat iron and hot tools curling iron to straighten my THICK COARSE FRIZZY CURLY/KINKY and relatively dry hair. I seem to do a decent job, my hair looks and feels silky smooth and doesnt look or smell flat-ironed The combination I have going right now seems to be keeping my hair intact and healthy except for the resistant front where I have a lot of breakage :(I had all the dead ends cut off except for some in the front where it would just be too short. My goal is to grow my hair down to the middle of my back if not lower back (right now it is maybe an inch past the shoulders)Will this continue to protect my hair with my new straightener? I will most likely be using the 450 setting. Also any tips and tricks for getting my hair to grow healthy and fast (although i doubt one can speed up the growing process) It seems like my hair grows so slowly :(Oh and my hair has about 3-4 layers if that helps with stair-step like edges although now the ends just kinda blend inEvery once in a while I use dessert essence an organic line of shampoo and conditioner (maybe once ever 3 weeks) that does not have any alcohol in it and contains loads of shea butterIn the shower i comb my conditioner in by lathering the conditioner in my hair and then squirting some on the comb and running it through ends to roots and let it sit for about 5-8 minutesReply to this postJan 19, 2010Link to this post
