Lisa O.Did The Color Change?I love this product. I have course and thick hair and it really helps to control it. However, I recently bought a bottle from my hair salon and it seems different. The color is clear and not yellow like it normally is. Did the formula change? It almost looks like Biosilk which I have also used but don't like as much. Dana P.United StatesGreat Product. Review+tipThis product is AMAZING. My hair is pretty normal, not too greasy and not dry either. It's thick and my natural color is Medium Brown. I personally.. LOVE the smell.. It smells like Guys Hollister Cologne.. BUT once you put the product in your hair.. it DOES change scents I've noticed.. It smells a lot more natural and Summery. There is one tip/ quick thing I want to tell you because It's a mistake I made... When you go to flip the bottle upside down because you want product it comes out FAST. and SOO much gets on your hand and it personally made me feel like I was wasting product.. soo be careful... even when you are careful, one little squirt will give you a nickel size.. just a warning. The bright side, It makes your hair super soft, and My hair is already thick.. but although you thick-haired people probably know that thick hair can easily lead to frizziness. and This product tames that frizziness.. soo I can embrace my thick hair and it still looks tame :) It doesn't weight my hair down then.Reply to this postJun 5, 2012Link to this post

It does not say anywhere it the description that it protects against heat, but many of the reviews says it does. Dana P.United StatesHeat Protectant Use.It would probably just be safe to use a heat protectant with this product. While this does soo much already... Smoothes out hair, makes it soft, thicker, shiny... it is/ and does feel extremely oily... therefore the heat device would only suck it up and brittle your hair. Soo to be safe you should probably use one. I've learned from experience. :)Jun 5, 2012Link to this post

My hair is breaking litterally every time I brush it. I have invested in the Chi silk infusion, the Chi Keratin leave-in treatment and the Chi Iron Guard. TeriHelpppppI would suggest that you start using a really good moisturizer, I use the Triple Moisture leave in conditioner by Neutrogena and I also use the Triple Moisture conditioner but if I use them both on the same day my hair gets pretty puffy. If you use the silk infusion and the Keratin leave in spray you will probably break your hair off even more. You must, as I have found through trial and error, moisture is your best friend if you have dry over processed hair like I have. Use the leave in moisture cream and then add in the protein. Too much protein will break your off really bad. The Silk Infusion has protein in it so if you are using it and the Keratin, you should probably stop one of them.
