  • For A Spiky Messy Look
Leave your hair damp then put about a lil more then a quarter size dot on ur hand (experiment with different sizes or different legnth hair) then massauge into yr hair then slick back if u want a thick spiky do try headbanging a little bit or comb forward. if it flattenes out quick ly hang up side down and use a blow dryer on yr hair to make the gel a lil harder. This is how i always have my hair done. (it may seem a little farfetched but trust me it works if done correctly)

  • Awesome For Volumizing Roots Of Fine, Limp Hair
Even though I dont spike my hair, this has become one of my favorite products. I have very long, fine, straight hair that never has any body unless I spend a long time heat styling it. I got a free sample of this product and on a whim I rubbed a small amount onto ONLY the roots of my hair all over my head while it was still wet after I washed it. I then let it air dry while I slept. When I woke up in the morning my roots looked stiff and crunchy, but when I brushed my hair out with a boar bristle brush I was left with more volume than I usually get from blowdrying or any other volumizing product Ive tried. There was lift but in a natural, non-sticky way, like I just had a lot of body. Now I use it every day! My only precaution is that if you are trying to use it this way, dont put it on all or most of your hair, just an inch or two of your roots.

  • Spiking Your Hair 2 Perfection
ok 1st u need 2 wash your hair with shampoo and contioner. next u need 2 dry it with a towel.(rub it down hard so it gets nice and lose) do this till its just about completly dry.(you wanna make shure its dry because if its not after your done spiking it you will be able to see your whole scalp.)now next u wanna add the gel, the best way to do this is to just add a small palm full at a time (if you dont you will have thick white clumps in your hair that is not easy 2 get out.)after the gel is in yer hair take a comb and brush it up. at this point it will be pin strait and sticking up (kinda like a afroe), the point of this is to make shure no hair is stuck to your scalp and that it is all sticking up. now the last thing u wanna do is take just a little bit of gel so that your hands are just sticky and glide your hands back and fourth at the tips of your hair. this will make your hair bind together in a very neat way. now if you have long hair in the back of your head jus take some gel and push it up then blow dry it so it stays in place.(make shure your hair is damp when u do this) this may not be easy, iv been doing my hair like this since i was like 4 and its just like a everyday thing 2 me.

  • I Found A Good Way To Do It
HEY, i found a good way to do it. i use ice on my hair, but not the ice spike glue, the ice reactor. yes, it works so much better, it holds my hair in straight spikes. i use a pick comb to help comb my hair like that of johns. i got a taper fade too. and since my hair was a little curly (wavey) i straightend my hair out so it would spike up.
