KelseyIs It Really Temporary?I have waist-length brown hair which was lightly highlighted over a year ago, but my highlights faded into the rest of my hair. Is it safe to use this product? And is it really temporary? Ive heard that no hennas are truely temporary.Reply to this postJan 19, 2010Link to this post

TammyHennalucent Sunset Glo ColorPlease tell me that Hennalucent is still making this product? (Sunset GLo) Mixing Sunset Glo and Sparkling Burgandy is the only way I can get my hair color, to come out right. Everytime Ive been to a salon they kill my hair, I cant use regular dyes, because they kill my ends. What the heck are they thinking, if they discontinue this. Ive been to about 3 beauty supply stores in my area that i used to count on for Henna, now they are all saying its discontinued. Whats going on?Reply to this postJan 19, 2010Link to this post

One Word: CoffeeI use hot strong coffee mixed with my henna (one part bark brown to two parts sunset glo). I think it tones down the orange and helps to smooth out the lumps... Im not sure, but it looks like it soaks into my hair better when I use coffee.Reply to this postJan 11, 2010Link to this post

To Avoid Green-blue Hairif you dont want bluish green hair... make sure that absolutely NONE of the hair you have on your head was EVER dyed with chemical dyes!!! Even if it has been 7 months or a year. If you know that those bottom 4 inches were dyed blonde or highlighted once upon a time, DONT USE HENNA. No matter how long its been, it will still turn a strange color. Your hair retains the chemicals and they react strangely to henna. The only thing you can do is possibly dye your hair black after winding up with blue hair... because even if a strange reaction occurs, the black usually covers it up.Reply to this postJan 11, 2010Link to this post

Extra Conditioning EffectWhen I apply my henna, I mix an egg, honey and some coconut or olive oil with my henna and sit underneath a dryer. My hair is very well moisturized once henna is rinsed out of my hair.Reply to this postJan 11, 2010Link to this post
