    Looking For A Needle In A Haystack And The Needle May Not Even Exist - Please Help
    Approx. 18-20 years ago I found a shampoo and conditioner that was unmatched by any other I had ever used on my own hair or anyone elses hair (I am a hairdresser-retired) and it was called Cortex. After about a year of use I could not find it anywhere and after another year a line of hair care products labeled "Cortex" came out and I thought it may be the original Cortex in new packaging but was extremely disappointed.
    The original Cortex shampoo and Conditioner was the only product I haver ever used that literally transformed my hair and did so by literally penetratingh deep into each strand of hair. All hair care lines claim to do this, but the original "Cortex" I used was the only product that actually did. If you have any info regarding this product as it relates to my experience I would appreciate the input. I am saving this website with this set of CORTEX Shampoo & Conditioner while I continue to search for what I used so many years ago. This stuff may be it.

      I used Cortex too. It was discontinued. I've been searching since then to find something comparable. NOTHING ever comes close to Cortex from years ago! When I was using that shampoo and conditioner my hair was never in better shape. I loved it!!! So my question is, has anyone who used the original Cortex and has tried this Cortex found that they are the same?

      I too wish someone could find this shampoo and conditoner , was the best stuff ever, I used it for years my hair never was in better condtion as it was then, I got it from Dollar Tree til they no longer had any , I would go to others buying up all they had til it was gone. I wish we could find where to get more. If anyone finds somewhere or who made it and if there is a compatable brand . PLEASE LET ME KNOW.

      Good Old Cortexs In The Dark Blue Bottle - 20 Years Ago - Is It Discontinued?
      I used to purchase cortex shampoo and conditioner about 20 years ago also. I used to buy it at a local Pharm store. It was truely the best shampoo and conditioner i ever used. It was in a dark blue bottle. That is what I was searching for when I came across the ad. I would purchase from this site but Im not sure if this is the same stuff. My hair was in the best condition when I used it. I havent found a simular or equal since.

      I am also looking for a product I used many years ago that was called cortex.I believe it may have been in a purple container... Can't really remember however it was awesome and I would also like to find it.
