Black To All Natural!!
I ordered this product from USA ( i live in Australia) as i couldnt find it here. I dyed my hair natural darkest brown which came out black. It wasnt that i didnt like the black in my hair, i just didnt know you could only get it out by stripping or gradually highlighting your hair again and my hair grows quick quickly,so i began looking searching for an alternative. As neither stripping (apparently dries and ruins your hair) and bleaching (peroxide and my hair dont mix well!) were an option for me, i ordered 2 boxes of the one n only colour fix. I got 2 boxes as my hair is very long and extremely thick. I used the equal parts ( about 1/2 a bottle) of the colour reducer and conditioning catylyst to 2 parts shampoo. Working through layers and from root to tip, i quickly applied the mixture. I then rubbed it around like you would shampooing your hair to get an even coverage. I strand tested after 20 mins and noticed a slight change. In the end i left it in for 1 hour and rinsed it. My colour had gone to a dark reddish brown (naturally, i have a heap of red pigment in my hair.)Going from my regrowth from the black, i thought it still needed to be lightened. i then mixed equal parts of colour reducer and conditioning catylyst but didnt add the shampoo this time. After about 30 mins i rinsed it out and washed my hair as usual.I then dried my hair with a blowdryer so i could see the result. It is a light brown with red pigment through it. There is no black to be found!! I didnt use the processing lotion (thanks to a tip id already read on this site! :) and my hair is natural looking and feels soft and healthy. I did not dye my hair afterward as the whole point of using this product was so i didnt have to dye my hair again ( at least not permanately.) I just thought id share my story for those who are thinking about using the product! hope it works as well as it has for me! :)
