I started using Nioxin thanks to my best friend who is a beautician. (You see, the last time I went to see one and my hair was long, she convinced me that it was the length being too heavy and it was pulling my hair out. When she got done with me I had SHORT THIN hair. That was so much worse.)
Using Nioxin, at least every other day, and leaving it in for a bit before rinsing, my hair stopped falling out so much. Soon I could no longer see my scalp!
I believe the key things that make the biggest difference in how well Nioxin workd for me are:
1. Shampoo with it at least every other day. I used to go for longer periods of time between washings what with my hair being so long, but Nioxin is good for your hair.
2. Leave it in for a bit before rinsing in order to give it time to work.
3. Using the styling products from Nioxin as much as I can.
4. Using the pads of your fingers, scrub Nioxin into your scalp for at least a minute.
The more Nioxin in your hair, the more hair on your head, and not the floor.
