Hot Tools Professional 3 Gold Barrel Waver
The Right Way To Wave!!
Alot of advice that people are leaving i dont agree with at all. I have used this tool too many times to count and if done correctly, it will not be frizzy, you wont look like medusa and it will be beautiful. I actually have naturally wavy hair but i either straighten it or really condition, product, scrunch and air dry it to make it curly. (i like the natural beachy wave look )But it doesnt always come out the way i want it to so i tried this tool and i love it!! the trick is to start with hair that is already smooth and straight. you dont want to gump it up with too much product and you want to make sure the hair is DRY when you start.(obviously i would recommend a thermal protector if your hair is damaged)i actually straighten my hair the day before or earlier in the day. when your ready to wave, start with small pieces and work from bottom of head toward part. i would take the other persons advice about waving around part. this is where you become in danger of looking crimped. take smaller pieces around the part and hold straight up. you dont want to take a long section because it will look artificial. Definately mist a hair spray over the finished section, but not too much and DONT play whith it too much! i like to shake it alittle at the end and piece out certain parts but that is it!! good luck!!
