Wet/dry Questions
As with any heat styling tool you want to get the most moisture out of your hair as possible..WHY? the steam from the moisture and the heat of the iron will burn you..BADLY and can cause scabs and other irritations...I saw people asking if they can get "on the scalp" to get the roots..there really is no need to touch the scalp..the stik is so slim that the heat generates around the tool not only under the surface...To prolong the life use your pouch(if included from here) or buy one at local drugstore to store it in...DO NOT wrap the cord around tool(any tool for that matter) it causes shortages in the cord and your tool will loose efficency..instead try to follow the factory pattern looping every two inches and slip a rubberband around it.And also it only takes 20 seconds to heat or less..so if you are taking a break halfway through turn it off u dont wanna burn out your iron or the plastic around the plates to melt as this can happen with any iron on the market. I am about to buy another just incase because Im out of warranty by a year and I paid 120 at a salon so here is a real bargain..Good Luck and happy styling...
