I have had thinning hair on the top of my head for quite a few years and was excited to find a product that promised a fuller look. This is the first product of this type I've ever bought. It was easy to use and I love the coverage. After a couple of times of getting my application technique down, I now go out feeling very confident. I am now even able to wear a middle part and it looks totally natural. I look forward to new hair styles. I'm not embarrassed anymore. I wear a slumber cap to bed to avoid any staining of my pillow case. And if I scratch my head, it does come off. And I have noticed a slight overspray in the bathroom which can be easily wiped down. These are minor inconveniences compared to the overall satisfaction and confidence I have with this product. According to reviews I've read, it probably will hold pretty well come summer, with the heat and sweating. Thank you for a great product.

This is pretty good stuff but has a nozzle head that constantly clogs up.....and I have had to change them many of times before with ones from other new cans not used yet.....or they will not work at all........this can be a big pain.....so thay really need to address this problem!!

Product gives great coverage, spray sometimes gets stopped up, but then again so does hairspray, just clean out with a little warm water. overall the product works as it suggest it would, I'm very pleased, it blends well with natural color, looks natural, and once you set it with hairspray, it keeps thur rain and sweat. Trust me, I know sweat, I live in Florida. I'm hooked and ready to re-order.

Blends right in but very messy, I have spiky hair ( about half an inch to an inch on top ) and uses hair gel, and still this product blends in great. to get great results you need to apply this product then rinse the excess coloring off, apply gel or a little hair spray. the hard part is cleaning your bathroom lol because if you don't this will paint your bathroom black in about a week of daily use, I wish they come out with a non aerosol spray so it wont be so messy =) results are great but sometimes im not sure if the mess is worth it.

You have to use a bit of common sense when using any kind of spray cover up. It can be messy, but if your careful on how you use it, you can avoid some of the mess. I use mine ONLY in the bathroom. I take two suction cups with hooks and put them on the wall near me. I then COVER the wall with a sheet or whatever you want to use. Keeps the wall from getting discolored. Also place something over the sink (if it happens to be behind you when spraying). Mine is above the mirror so I cover it. I then place a towl around my neck and put the product on. Seems like a big deal, but it's not. Takes all of 10 min. Far less time then my daughters when they use the bathroom. As far as the tub goes. When you shower, the tub floor (over a period of time) may start to discolor, but then you clean the tub. Somethng most of us have to do anyway. It comes right off with scrubbing. I've use this and various types of
products for 15 years. I'm turning 50 now, and don't spray as much on as I use to. Looks like I'm losing my hair gradualy, and soon I will stop. As you get older it's just not as important. But if your using the product, with a little pratice you can avoid the mess. Also, I've worked on the docks for 25 years, and with some tough guys. Nobody has ever noticed anything. And believe me if they knew they would have busted my chops. It's great stuff.

I have found that when the aerosol can of proTHIK Hair Volumizer works, it is a great product. However, I have had a couple of instances where the can is almost full, but I aerosol does not spray the contents, thus making it a purhcase loss. I am very satisfied when the spray works.

Just wanted to say that this product really works. I have really thining hair and it really covers it up. I'm loosing my hair line and it really helps there. I've been using this product for about a year and I'm still loosing my hair. My only worry is that I will loose too much of it to use it. I think that I may have to have hair transplant surgery at some point in time. Wear a du rage or stocking cap so you don't have to wash it out every night. Just reaply in the morning where it's looks like it's tinning.

Don't let the low price fool you. As long as you have some hair where you want to use ProTHIK then it will appear that you have hair again. The color realistically matches the hair so you can use it just behind the frontal hairline. It not only hides thinning hair by coloring the scalp but also by adding volume to the hair you have. You spray it on and it really looks like you just instantly grew some hair. It stays on whether your sweating or its raining. Its very hard to wash off so you really need to vigorously scrub your scalp with a good shampoo. You can even sleep in it without leaving a mess on your pillow.

Think product is the best concealer that I have ever used.I have used toppic with their hair spray and the fibers still get all over everything. I have also used dermamatch and the product rubs off on my furniture.Plus is very hard to get a natural frontal hairline.Fullmore is like using paint on your head. Makes your hair very hard to comb.I have found that proTHIK has the best adhesion and is easy to comb through.Only draw back is the spray gets on everything. Small price to pay.

If you enjoy soot on your fingers when you touch your hair, bleaching stains from your pillowcase, scrubbing ink-like stains out of your shower tile, or a thin film of grime on your bathroom counter and walls... this product is for you! I prefer Toppik.

I don't see how this product can be used?
1) Applying it in the home gives rise to "oversray" black dust everywhere. Difficult to clean up. Maybe it could be applied outdoors; however, not very practicle.
2) At the slightest sign of moisture, rain, sweat, ect. you have black stuff everywhere.
3) Showering after applying the product put black ink like stains all over my tub and shower. Took comet and 15 minutes just to clean the shower!
I just don't see how this product can be used!

i started with couvre ,then the other sprays , even the one applied with a little brush . they were all ok ,glh is the worst . couvre is the leader , ive only had problems with the nozzle on some of the cans . you will not be dissapointed . i use it so often . nobody has ever seen me without it . and when i do shower i forget how bald i really am ....

ProTHIK has worked great for Me. I am 23 years old and have been experiencing hair loss for about a year now. I use ProTHIK daily. I have to say that before I started using ProTHIK some of the reviews did not sound great, but people seemed happy with the results. After I started using ProTHIK
people complimented Me at school and work, about how great My hair looked. It stays on very good during sweating or even rain. Make sure to use it only where necessary, and also use a good finishing hair spray. I was so impressed after water testing it the first time by soaking My hair in the shower at the end of the day and none of it came out! After shampooing My hair most of it came out but some of it did not, this is not a problem for Me because I use it everyday.

This product will not flake down onto your forehead if you have to use in on the frontal areas..shake it good and dont let the can get cold or it wont spray out...if it wont spray out put it in a warmer spot...always shake it really, really well...

My Testimonial: I'm Dave out of SLC,UT. This product is SIMPLY SUPERB. I've used competitors such as Jerome Russell etc. And when it comes to VALUE… Your HUGE cans blow the market away. ProTHIK for sure has a holding ground on value/quality/quantity. I have NO problem bring this product toward the hair line… I start on the back top of the head and pull the hair back firmly and spray… Then I slowly edge forward pulling more hair back and spraying where I see the scalp until I get to the front of the head… I place roughly a finger or two into the front hair line as a guide to keep the product from spraying too close out front… and then comb all hair forward. I then take a wet cloth and rub upwards into the hair line for desired blend.
To maintain a solid THICK look I style two different ways:
ONE: The cesar look with all hair forward. I use D:FI heavy wax Firm Hold. Simply apply with the hair direction (front to back) with both hands… ONLY applying the wax on the top hair layers (it gets on there, trust me). Then I take a Comb Pick with the little handle and start at the back of the head and move the pick side to side as I come toward the front and the wax bonds with underlying hairs without going right down to the scalp. This particular wax gives a superb shine to bring the natural look back. If I want an even better shine I simply spray a little Bed Head TIGI Masterpiece Massive Shine Hairspray and I’m DONE.
TWO: The messy spiky look. This is a hard style to pull off with thinning hair… But I think I have it mastered to an art. Apply ProTHIK as mentioned above. I then use American CREW Fiber/Molding Crème. I rub a good about between the fingers of both hands and then grab the hair and mess it all up… Only for a few seconds… Allowing the top hairs with the crème to bond with the underlining hairs… But not too much to where you’re moving the bottom hairs near the scalp. Women luv the messy look if done right. Don’t over think it… Less is better!! Once done… Apply Bed Head TIGI Masterpiece Massive Shine Hairspray. And you’re done.
Avoid the really greasy or wet products such as Gels, Mousse, etc. You can obtain the SAME look by starting with one of the methods above then applying shine hairspray.
ProTHIK and PROPER Styling can virtually make any thinning head undetectable.
Very good product for the money...

Just need to take care if you are in the extreme heat or just sweet alot, it will run down your face! Airasol spray is a little strong and will get the color on your walls & floor as well. Small price to pay to be vain...
