About two weeks prior to using ONO Curl Remover, I got a perm that ended in a horrible poodle-like style. After trying to "get used to it", I decided to try this- after all, it couldn't make it any worse, right?
I'm so glad I did, because the results are fantastic- my hair is straight but is smooth and has body. This is great, because my hair has bleached streaks in it, and I was afraid that this ma have been too damaging. But no! I'm left with full, smooth, STRAIGHT! hair that still definately has some movement. For the price of this item, it's definately worth a try.

This product is excellent!! I could not wait for my perm to grow out, so I tried the One 'n Only curl remover. Since then, I have had many compliments on my straight hair!

Immediately after using One 'n Only I wondered if I had made the right decision. After a couple washes though, my hair both looked and felt great (maybe it just had to recover?). I have fine, curly-wavy hair and this product was able to "pull-out" the tigher curls, leaving me with pretty wavy hair. I still use mousse and scrunch/ twirl my hair though because it did not get rid of the frizz and definitely should not be marketed as a way to eliminate frizz. I would use this again.
A little sketchy at first, but turned out great!

As I was applying the product the intense smell was something I could have definitely done without, but I assumed that meant it was a strong, great product! After the entire process was complete, my hair felt really soft until I blew dry it and it looked like a frizzy mess. So, I rewet my hair and applied my own smoothing conditioner that I usually use and then blew dry and straightened my hair with my straightening iron. I was definitely happy with the results of my hair being straight and soft, but I could see some fly aways from damage that was done to my hair. I just put smoothing pomade on those for a quick temporary fix. All in all, I would definitely recommend this product.

This product smells bad and did not straighten my natural curls. It damaged my hair a little as well. I would not purchase this product again.

I have fine hair (virgin to color or treatment) but it's very curly in the summer humidity. This product helped to 'mute' the major curliness (still some curl & waves), but I was hoping for straighter hair afterwards. Nonetheless, this was a simple & safe product and I am pleased with the results overall. Great price too!

I tried this product last night and I love the outcome!! I have naturally curly hair, like Shirley Temple!, and it took out over half of the curl. I usually spend over 45 minutes using a straightening iron and today it only took me 15 minutes. My hair came out soft and with no damage. I used the formula for tinted hair and I am very impressed with the results

I really love this stuff. I hate looking at pictures of myself before I found it. If you know what it's like to deal with curly unmanagable hair, you'll appreciate the presonal significance of the one & only curl remover.

Wow! I was scared to death to do anything else to my already FRIED hair. I paid big bucks to have my hair permed by a professional. I have never been so dissatisfied with the results from the perm. My hair was so dry and frizzy. It was just unmanagable. After 6 weeks of fighting with my hair, I searched the internet and found One n Only and decided to give it a try. My husband put the solutions on my hair and we were both impressed with the final outcomes! I feel like a new person and I am so relieved to have my hair back. This is truly a wonderful product. Do not hesitate to try it. I've told my friends, and they want me to get them some, too! I did have some breakage after using this product, but with the hair I had, I dealt with it. Think twice about hair salons' high prices for services. You don't always get what you pay for.

I got a perm about 2 days ago and it did SO NOT turn out the way I had expected. So I went to the store and bought this without any prior research. So far, so good. I used it tonight and my hair is straight right now. Even if it doesn't stay straight tomorrow or whatever, it at least did what it said it would. I approve! 2 thumbs up.

I got a crapy perm that just fried and culed that crap out of my hair. After a 2 weeks trying to get use to it, I decided I couldn't do it any more. I put this product on my hair and it took the perm out! My hair was already damaged from the perm, so I put on a leave it condition to the parts that were very dried. I worked great! No more perm. I'm so glad I didn't have to wait for my hair to grow out to get rid of the perm. Sugguest getting the formula for tinted and processed hair for getting rid of bad perms and use a leave in conditioner if perm left hair already damaged. This product didn't seem to damage my hair any more than it already was. I can't wait to wash it! I would also suggest minimizing brushing or doing anything with it until the 3 days it up to advoid further damage. The box said not to braid or pull back for 3 days. I guess the hair is stressed enough! Good luck!

This product does more than it claims. My hair is baby fine, very thin and fragile shoulder length and extremely curly (Amy Irving Curly). For the past 3 years I have had my hair professionally strightened (Japanese Thermal Reconditioning) which costs approx $400-500 with tip). I really can't justify this expense and after reading reviews, especially one stating that you could use it for Thermal Reconditioning I decided to give it a try. I did it 4 days ago using the "Tinted" formula and my hair quite honestly turned out better than the professional version. It is stick straight even after washing, not as dried out and brittle as when it was done in a salon. I did it myself with no help. To do it, I applied it as instructed, let it process 7 minutes, combed additional through then let process for 5 minutes, rinsed with water for 5 minutes, blow dried straight with -0- product, then flat ironed (with Sedu Ceramic Iron 200 degrees) in 1/8 inch segments, applied neutralizer as instructed, left that on 5 minutes, rinsed thrououghly, didn't shampoo, just conditioned (pantene resoratives anti breakage formula - it rocks) blow dried straight sprayed with Pantene resoratives anti breakage leave in, and flat ironed again in 1/8 sections. The whole process took approx 3 hours and saved me a ton of money. I did it Friday am and didn't wash my hair until Monday night. Voilla, my hair is straight, shiney, silky & frizz free :-)

I made a stupid mistake and had a perm done on my hair. After a couple of months my perm was wearing out and I was left with ugly, wavy, and frizzy hair. Everyone told me there was nothing I could do and I would have to wait to grow it out. I couldn't wait that long so I purchased One n' Only curl remover. WOW! It got all the gross perm out of my hair. It didn't damage my hair too much and my hair has been colored, bleached, and permed before. I highly recommend it to anyone who has made the mistake of getting a perm and is unhappy with it.

i have naturally,kinky curly hair. i just wanted to calm the curls down some. instead, my curls are still the same, and only after 5 minutes i had to rinse out cuz it was causeing a lot of hair to break off and fall out. now my hair is damaged,very unhealthy and very dry and very very brittle. DO NOT USE THIS PRODUCT

I had a perm that was growing out and I didn't want to re-perm it, but I also didn't want to cut my hair short so I tried Ono hair straightener. It worked great with only minimal hair breakage. I would recommend this to anyone.

This product does what it says, it relaxes the curl. I have naturally curly hair and I do not want to put any chemicals in my hair, so I tried this. It worked, but I have two complaints 1: this product has a strong smell to it and my hair holds scents so that smell was hard to get out. and 2: this product dried my hair out. The results lasted for about two weeks, which for my hair is good. I would use again, and recommend to anyone who wanted to relax their curls without using chemicals. Price is PERFECT!

I have really tight curls and always blow dried my hair and flat ironed it straight, but I live were it is fairly humid most of the time, and my hair would curl back up and get frizzy. I was really apprehensive to use a chemical on my hair especially since I have highlighted it, but I used the highlighted formula and it worked really well. It relaxed my curls, but I still have curl left in my hair. It really helped out with the frizziness though, and when I straighten it out now, it stays straighter and doesnt get frizzy. I would really recommend this, my hair is still really soft;highlighting my hair was way more damaging.
