Okay, let's face it, a lot of chemical straighteners like this DO NOT WORK. I've tried one product called EasyStraight, all it did was make my hair look thicker. I just want to know from somebody if this product os REALLY going to work and if it's REALLY worth my money and time. Can someone please also tell me what results I should expect if I have kind of thin, wavy/curly hair? Thanks! Question posted by Amanda Sat Sep 23 2006 Submit your answer | Reply by Karyn

I'm a black woman whose natural hair would air dry into ringlets with the help of anti-frizz products. I have fine hair, but a lot of it. On Saturday, 10/14 I tried this product - the one for "resistant" hair. I was aprehensive, but I gave it a try. My mom applied it for me and when it was all done, I was (and am) extremely satisfied with the results. It did exactly what it said it would - loosen the curl. I still have to use product, but my hair is so much more manageable now. I can't wait until I can try straightening it. Good luck!! | Straight Iron
If you don't get the results that you like, can you straight iron your hair immediatly? Or do you have to wait a few days? Question posted by Rebecca Thu Sep 21 2006 Submit your answer Can You Do it Yourself?
Has anyone applied this product to their hair themselves, or is it a better idea to have someone else do it for you? Can I just pour the bottle onto my hair and comb it through real good? Question posted by Z Wed Aug 23 2006 Submit your answer | Reply by Rebecca

I have done this by myself. I did feel worried about doing it, but it turned out great. You'll really have to read the instructions closly. The one that I used said to separate your hair into sections as you do this, trying to get as close to the roots as possible but not touching your scalp. I used this product with no protection on my neck and forehead, like it recommends. When I was done, I had no burns anywhere. It was very easy to do by myself. Hope this helps! | will it last and bring back my straight hair?
i had a perm yesterday and it was terrible. i orginally had straight hair and i want it back. so far, all the straightening treatments i read aren't permanent? i purchased ono already, but will it bring back my straight hair by the time it's done? When you first perm your hair, you are not making it permanent. You are only getting as close to your roots as possible. This will not change your dna to grow straight hair. So the answer is, yes your hair will grow back straight. It depends on how curly you permed your hair also, if you only got waves then this will straighten it completely. If you have massive curls, then it might take a couple of times with this treatment. They recomend doing it again after about 3 months. Hope this helps! | One=Thermalionic
I used Thermalionic for the last year and I love it, it seems to be the same company that produces it, my question is if it,s the same product because I always pay way more than the 7$ Question posted by Rebecca Fri Jul 14 2006 Submit your answer should i use it?

Several months ago, I had my hair permed. It started to grow back straight and I didn't want the curls anymore. I used this product and it did not damage my hair at all. No split ends, nothing. Just straight hair, yay! | does it really work in high humidity?
i live in nj and over the summer, it gets pretty darn humid. my hair is naturally wavy, frizzy, thick, and course. ive tried a lot of different products and nothing seems to work through humidity. will this product keep my hair straight through the harsh nj summer humidity? I used to live in florida and it is very humid there and i used this product for like 5 yrs. Was the only thing that lasted through the humidity. I am in ohio now and dont use anything, just leave it curly but i am thinking of going back to florida so i may start using it again. So to answer your question......YES it works in the humidity. Actually sometimes my hair would get 'flat' when it was humid which didn't bother me ONE BIT considering the alternate was to have bushy frizzy hair. | | Reply by Jim (XANADU HAIR DESIGNS)

Curl Removers/Rearrangers Vary Quite A Bit In How Effective They Are- You Need To Remember This Is NOT a Hair Straightener. Your Results Depend On Your Hair Type, Condition And What You Expect The Product To Do. Most Products Of This Type Only Loosens Curl To A More Manageable State And Does Not Completely Straighten The Hair. The Results Are Often Temporary - Lasting Only A Few Weeks. If You Are Expecting Stick Straight Satiny Smooth Hair This May Take More Than One Treatment And/Or The Application Of A Styling Product And/Or Flat Iron. Frizziness Is A Term That Means Different Things To Different People. "Frizziness" Can Often Be Relieved By Conditioning Or Other Treatments | Normal or Resistant formula?
I have thin, curly hair (not quite Shirley Temple, but more curly than wavy) with some normal breakage. I don't have any highlights or dye and the last time I got a straight perm was over two years ago, so I don't think I have any of that left in my hair.Which formula should I use? I want it to be straight -- it doesn't have to be pin-straight, a little wave would be fine, but I also don't want anything too harsh for my hair. The last time I got the straight perm, it didn't completely take, so I think my hair is geared more towards the "resistant" but I'm scared! Question posted by JL Wed May 24 2006 Submit your answer Took out too much of my curl
I am multi-racial (White, African and Greek)and my hair is naturally curly/coarse. I used this product to "loosen" the curls in my hair so it would be less coarse. When I used it-it ended up taking too much curl out so now my hair is practically straight and I want my curls back! Can I use a thio "curly perm" on top of this product to put curls back into my hair? Would it work? You Will Want To Avoid Putting Too Many Chemical Services On Your Hair.
This Can Cause A Lot Of Damage. Your Hair May "Revert" Back To Curly On It's Own. You Can Help This Along With Deep Conditioning Treatments And "WET SETTING" Your Hair With Perm Rods And Allowing Your Hair To Dry On Them.
If These Treatments Don't Work - PLEASE, Get Professional Help. Perming ANY Chemically Treated Hair Is Risky. BUT, Perming Relaxed Hair CAN Result In SEVERE HAIR DAMAGE - Including MELTED Hair And Scalp Burns Which May Require Medical Treatment. | Um... ?
This is really not much of a question, so I couldn't think of a summary for it... I just wanted to know how long the result of this product lasts... I looked for that in the reviews, but I got bored of looking after the first page... not very patient... ^_^ *giggle* Question posted by Angel Wed Apr 26 2006 Submit your answer | Reply by angel

Its just like hair color, in my opinion..it just grows out and your roots are curly again. Most of the time i only did my root touch up because putting the product over the same hair i had already straightened kind of made my hair break off in the long run. You will know when you need to touch up cuz your ends will be nice and straight and your roots will be the curly/wavy/frizzy part. | | Reply by chibi-shini

It says on the directions that it's supposed to last for at least (or at least the need to retouch) three months. :3 I'm excited to use it! x3 |
