Here's how to prolong the life of your new jilbere de Paris shear...

• Never use the shear for any purpose other than cutting hair.
• Clean your shear everyday by wiping away any excess moisture and hair fragments.
• Lubricate the set screw joint on a weekly basis. Work the oil into the joint by opening and closing the shear several times. Wipe away any excess oil.
• Avoid dropping the shear.
• Store in a protected, dry place.

These Shears are awesome. I thought I was going to get what I paid for, but it went beyound my expectations. Extremely sharp w/ results of a precision cut. very lightweight and durable. I highly recommend.
