Instructions: (read carefully before perming)
One formula for normal, tinted (single process) and highlighted (40% or less) hair. DO NOT use on heavily highlighted, bleached, double processed hair or hair tinted with higher than 20-volume developer.

Important:

Ask if client has ever had an allergic reaction to a perm or other cosmetic product. If so, do not perm

Check clients scalp. If sores, abrasions, or other abnormal conditions are present, do not perm.

Examine the condition of the hair, checking for breaking, discoloration, poor elasticity or texture. Make a complete preliminary test curl if you have any doubt as to whether you can satisfactorily perm the hair.

Always make a preliminary test curl on tinted and highlighted hair. If the hair breaks or discolors after the test curl is dried and combed, do not perm.

If lotion drips onto skin, gently blot the skin with a water-soaked cotton ball.

Always wear rubber gloves when giving a perm.

Do not allow wave lotion to come in contact with eyes. If contact occurs, flush thoroughly with cool water.

Do not perm over henna, metallic salts or color restorers.

Do not shampoo or condition for 48 hours after perming.

Do not perm and tint or bleach hair on the same day. Wait one week between chemical services.
