Awesome for volumizing roots of fine, limp hair submitted by: Sarie, Wed Oct 05 2005

Even though I don't spike my hair, this has become one of my favorite products. I have very long, fine, straight hair that never has any body unless I spend a long time heat styling it. I got a free sample of this product and on a whim I rubbed a small amount onto ONLY the roots of my hair all over my head while it was still wet after I washed it. I then let it air dry while I slept. When I woke up in the morning my roots looked stiff and crunchy, but when I brushed my hair out with a boar bristle brush I was left with more volume than I usually get from blowdrying or any other volumizing product I've tried. There was lift but in a natural, non-sticky way, like I just had a lot of body. Now I use it every day! My only precaution is that if you are trying to use it this way, don't put it on all or most of your hair, just an inch or two of your roots.

Leave your hair damp then put about a lil more then a quarter size dot on ur hand (experiment with different sizes or different legnth hair) then massauge into yr hair then slick back if u want a thick spiky do try headbanging a little bit or comb forward. if it flattenes out quick ly hang up side down and use a blow dryer on yr hair to make the gel a lil harder. This is how i always have my hair done. (it may seem a little farfetched but trust me it works if done correctly)

Take the gel in your palm, anough to cover 1/2 of your index finger, rub it in your palm and apply to slightly wet hair. Dry hair tends to give a little kickback with gels like these. Then take the hair and start lifting, bringing your hands together with some hair between them and lift. This will give your hair a straight standing spike look. if you dont want straight standing spikes use your finger to run through your hair and lift. This should give your hair a turned over to the back look. Make sure you life straight and not at an angle for any of the hair styles or it will come out in a way other than you intended.
Thank You for listening.

ALL U DO IS KEEP U'R HAIR DAMP BUT NOT DRIPPING WET. USE WARM WATER TO DAMP IT SO THE MOISTURE IS RETAINED WITHIN THE HAIR AND THE HAIR IS LEFT SOFT. APPLY A QUARTER SIZE AMOUNT OF GLUE FOR A MEDIUM LENGTH HAIR DO. MASSAGE IT INTO THE HAIR BUT I RECOMMEND NOT TO MASSAGE IT INTO THE SCALP. THE GLUE SHOULD DO ITS DEEDS JUST FROM THE OUTER PORTIONS OF THE HAIR AND THE STYLE SHOULD BE TERRIFIC. USE A BLOW DRYER AND NONAEROSOLE HAIRSPRAY WHERE NEEDED FOR A MORE DESIRED GOAL ORIENTED STYLE.
