I've been tryin to get my hair like carmine or john but my hair is thick and curley and sometimes dry. does anyone have any tips??

i had the same problem it is an easy solution u just need a brush/hair dryer/ ice spiking glue and-----blowdry your hair completely dry out so it looks like an afro the apply the gell from the bottom up and out all around and thts it |

i use a different method..
hehe i read all the stories sighh.. Check it, this is what i did this time. I got my haircut in size 4 meaning its very short. I let it grow out till about 1 inch or jus a tiny bit longer. I gotta brook or a tape up what ever u guyz call it over there. so i use beez wax since its thick u can put it all over ur hair but jus not too much if enough that its all over ur hair, obviously start spiking the sides of your hair, den the back and the front as you like, then when your done with that, i go to the beauty salon store and buy that big gel that the barbers carry since its a thick gel, and use that as a 2nd coat for shine, dats how i've been done mine since freshmen yr of HS =)....gotti's aint got nuttin on ME... ps obviously to have this hair style your going to have to get a haircut every 2 weeks atleast the tips cut if not then everyweek if ur a big baller cuz spikes look good at a 1inch length if not then its gonna curl n lose the spike effect..ps carmines hair is naturally curly =)

not a problem!!! i got the same type of hard-headed hair that doesnt behave...u just gotta smooth it out the opposite way your hair grows...mine goes forward, so i just apply it backwards...and then when its applied deep enough, move your hands back and fourth over your head to make your hair stand up... |
how to spike up the back of your hair!!
I can get the front of my hair and the sides but i just cant get the back!!!does anyone have any advices on how to get it done???

Yea u should use a mirror maybe one on a door to a cabinent or sumthing so u can swing it open and get a better view when i had liberty spikes and went old fasion and used elmers glue my gf helped me get them up and formed in the back | | Reply by Mike

If you trying to get the back all spiked out you gotta take gel in your hands and push all your hair up towards the top of your head so it almost curls up. With enought gel it will hold and then you style the back so it stick out |

i have been wearing a tape up hair cut just like theirs for several years. I is easy just put a little gel in your hands a start at the bottom of the back of you head and work your way upward,(I use ICE spiker), this is easy for me because I have fairly thick hair and it sticks up naturally, but give it a try. | | Reply by Julz

After you get out of the show, Dont towel Dry your hair! Get a blow dryer and a strong brush. Blow dry it all upwards. Keep doing that until your hair is completely dried. Drench your hair in gel, not that "Got 2 B Glued" Shit. Use something called "salon Designes Ultra Hold".With a afro-Pick Stand it all up in. Once every little hair is standing... Rub some gelon your hands and lightly go over the tips of your hair, and in your case, heavily in the back. Try to make your hair clump up kind of. Then spray it down with strong ass hair spray. Blow dry it after that with your blow dryer intil it looks like mine aite bro. Good Luck. Ya Boi - Carmine |

i got a tape up . i had a realy long one it took like 3 months to get that long , i just got a short tape up yesterday the long hair gets annoying and it takes to long to do in the morning as it gets longer. all u need to do is str8in your hair with a str8iner . and it thins it out. |
what does the brook haircut look like?
People have been telling me that the brook is very very short. I would want one that is long on top and short on the sides.. is that possible?

Joico ICE Spiker is what they use, Carmine finishes with ICE Spiker Blast Adhesive Spray to Top it off, I think all of them finish with this as well | | Reply by GP

They Use I.C.E. Hair Spiker- Water Resistant styling glue. I get mine at ULTA for like 14 bucks for the 5 ounce and 26 bucks for the 16.9 ounce.
