you need ice or any kind of strong jell but you also you beyond the zone spike it! its a hair cement that will hld your hair str8 up. ive been doin the gotti look for like 4 years and thats how i get it up there but its hard to train your hair on the sides to become perfect if your hai is really thin

we use I.C.E. SPIKER and then we use "crew" holding spray...not alot tho! thats it!

i would say the only thing you need is a blowdryer and the glue. start with dry hair (can do wet but i've found it doesn't hold as well) then rub product through hands then through hair, style as wanted blow-dry and you're set!

i use to live in danbury but dont worry about that i got a blow out it kidna looks like john and carmines hair u gotta let your sides grow along with the top ive had spiky hair for a long time my hair goes perfectly up now with no problem

I got a buddy thats african american and he has the gotti haircut...first you have to grow ur hair to the proper lenght...get your hairdreser to cut it propperly so you have the blowout and then you need to ahve your hair chemically straightened thats the key ingrediesnt to the haircut...All of those gels mentioned before are no good..You need to Buy the best gel every made in the universe Lanza Molding Paste..With this there is no stopping you..Pc

well you could do that but it would be much better if you cut the sides and the back..get a brooklyn on the sides and back and then just spike the top

i do my hair like them. U get a blowout at ur barber shop. make sure your hair is long enough now, you can get that glue stuff but i like its expensive counter-part Bed Head, it smells good, sticks better, and doesnt turn white when your lady rubs her hands through it, it also rinses out just as fine but costs about 16 bucks. Depending on ur hair, i have italian mixed puerto rican so mine is so-so thick. i blow dry it out like a afro then stick a fair amount of bed head in it coming it outward with my hand and then lightly blow dry the bed head dry. then vamoose, i got better hair then the gottis. good luck

ok first get the tape up hair cut then apply gel all over you head and use a comb so the spikes are made evenly after that twist them so the stay straight and blow dry it, apply this method all over your hair

ok in new york there are plenty of bareber shops dat will do a a tape up, but u dont want a tape up u want a BLOWOUT, i promise u dat wit da tape up da sides will be too short, i've been doin my hair "gotti style" for like 2-3 years now nd ask for a blowout but dont go to an all african american barber shop dey cant do it rite, go to where white ppl go or hispanics nd if da barber doesnt kno wat a blow out is den dont do it, and wen he ask how u want ur sides say skin tape, so u'll be GOTTI lol nd u'll be all set, and to put ur hair up jus go and blow dry it all out wit out any products and get it like an afro, den make sure its nice nd dry nd den put da GOT 2 B GLUED gel in ur hair or I-C-E SPIKER, i personally use I-C-E but GOT 2 BE GLUED works fine but it dries out ur hair after like 2 weeks of use and I-C-E has vitamins in it so it wont get dried out nd ugly looking when u dont put gel in ur hair. anyways so you put da gel in ur hair nd jus spike it how u think it shud look, the top will go abk so pull da first few spikes forward a bit and make sure to get the very bak of ur head gelled cuz its hard to get the back. then on da sides jus put it up but it wll def go too far up so pull it down a bit and then make sure all ur hair is where u want it to be and LIGHTLY blow dry it do make sure it sets. hope dis helps but wit dis u cant fial nd u'll be set

well the only way you could get the gotti hair is that you use ice spiker and go to ur local barbershop and ask for a taper first and then a blowout.after that get a blowdryer and use a comb to make ur hair go straight up and apply gel and then blowdry it all around ur hair.

well honestly it dont matter as long as your hair is a decent long spike lets just say not short but long yeah... next time you take a shower keep your head down and shampoo like that (upward) do every thing upward conditioning whatever and when you get out same thing dry your hair upward and then just gel as much as you can hang your head down and shake like a dog thats what i do and i have had the brooklyn tape up for years

well you really have to grow the top and sides really long. if you have normal hair rite now like medium length id say about 9 months. if yer coming off a fade then one year. their hair is serious.. but the name of th e haircut is a blowout just shaving the back and sides of the hair line to bring out the spikey look. ive dealt with many people who want this kind of hair lol
