Product Rating: 4 Great for Handlebar Moustache
Reviewer: Michael from Gaffney, SC  Wed Nov 04 2009

I use this to hold my unrully handlebar moustache in place. I find it works best if I use a blow dryer to set it. I ride a motorcycle and it even holds it in place at interstate speeds (I dont wear a helment/face shield). It does tend to loosen in the rain or if I eat fried chicken lol.

This works somewhat well for spikey or stiff hair styles but not the way it is advertised. It's nothing like glue and you wont get a rock haid stiffness...you get more of a stiff but bendy and flimsy effect that is easily messed by the wind. in order to get a really stiff and hard result you have to put alot on plus you MUST combine it with a good hairspray and water and let dry. I won't buy this again.

Product Rating: 5 Can't "do" without it!
Reviewer: Wynne   Sun Oct 07 2007

This is the only product that gives my very straight flat hair any lasting definition. I don't use it for spiking, just to give some texture and definition to my hair. After a shower, I rub some in and either let it dry naturally or blow dry. Without this product, I have trouble styling my hair. It is also great on humid days to keep my hair from getting out of control. I was so happy to find it here! Can't "do" without it!

Hi
The product was ok - wasn't as good as I expected. I was impressed with the swift delivery.

Product Rating: 2 not what i thought
Reviewer: latrece from Charleston, SC  Tue Apr 25 2006

The cement glue turned out not to be what all i thought. I thought it would be more of a wax or pomade than just "glue" that takes forever to wash out of my hair and off of my hands.

I've searched for a long time, spent an obscene amount of money trying to find a product that works with my hair. All the products I've found never live up to what it says, including all the so-called "better" salon stuff. The Rubber Spiking Cement is the best product I've ever found by far. I have fine, hard to manage hair and this is the only product I've ever found that makes it so easy to work with and holds it all day. If anyone has a hard time with getting lift or spikes out of their hair and doesn't want to use glue but still have the hold of a glue, this is definately for you! Thanks for making such an awesome product available =)

Product Rating: 4 I loved it!

I really liked this product although it seems it didn't work well for others.

For spikes and mohawks what you need to do is mix it with a bit of lukewarm water and apply it heavily to your spikes and it will harden quite nicely. After it hardens I'd go over it with a super holding hairspray.

Product Rating: 2 Buy got2b glued gel instead

Product Rating: 1 Absolute Garbage
Reviewer: Bite ME from yer mom's house.  Tue Sep 07 2004

This spiking cement is supposed to be used for making spikes. It says "rubber spiking cement" right there on the bottle. One might expect it to be rubbery, and quite cement-like; yet it oozes from the bottle quite watery and horse jiz-like. I applied maybe a teaspoon and worked it into my hair, which is typical fine blonde, about 2 inches long, and began trying to make a spike stand straight. To no avail. For ten minutes. The product is supposed to be completely dry within 10 minutes, yet it was still quite wet and jizzumy, and there was no way in hell I was about to get a spike to stand up. This stuff promised stubborn spikes, and delivered greasy, jizzy, globbery soft curls of hair that looked like spikes after a double dose of methadone. I would recomend this product to everyone, as I have paid $5 for it, and it is complete horsecrap; thus leaving me mad at the world. So please, buy it, use it, hate it like I did, so I'm not the only one with a sour experience to rant about.
