well I used to have a hawk and it wouldn't stay up because the spray would not dry fast enough, but I solved that problem, So the trick is: hold the hair in the position you want it to stay, spray it, and then use a hair dryer and it will stick up instantly "depending on how how and what power the hair dryer is set."
