Because the heat from the was brings the veins closer to the surface of the skin, and when you go to remove the wax with the strip you pull up on the skin and in doing so you take the chance of ripping the vein under the skin and you may or may not know that you have done it , there by causing an internal bleed that could possibly lead to a clot forming in your leg, then possibly causing a stroke if the clot breaks free |
