Im a 33 year old woman who has been has had mild acne my entire life which is sorta controlled by benzoyl peroxide 5 %. I get a bump here a there so I decided to buy zeno. I used the zeno faithfully and was loving the quick response of the tx. Ten days later I began to break out like never b4. I figured it would go away but 2 months later here I am taking antibioitics because of the cystic acne I have now. I believe zeno made my acne turn into something much worse than what I have ever had b4. Is there anyone out there with the same experience? I thought zeno was a miracle cure but was mislead and now am deeply depressed my my face its horrible. I HATE ZENO..the creaters need to take it off the market..

Product Rating: 5 No doubt - it works

I got this in desperation as a pimple was developing just at the wrong time, I had wanted to try it for a while but have infrequent skin problems so it seemed expensive. WORTH EVERY PENNY, the swelling and discomfort improved with one use, and continues to help (today is day 2), usually this would take over a week to heal to this stage. Not painful and very effective - get it, I'm very glad I did.

This works for my blemishes. I also discovered that it works for styes. I had a painful stye. I used the zeno 2 times in succession and within a few hours it was gone.

Product Rating: 1 It doesn't work

ya Zeno didn't help with my acne at all. It made it red and stay longer than they normally do. Don't recommend at all.

Product Rating: 5 Great acne fighter

I stumbled on this product at Target while looking for my everyday self tanner. In a moment of pure weakness because I just got my paycheck, I took it to the cashier. It was a total splurge. I had 30 days to return it if it didn't work for me, so nothing to lose, right? I have your typical problem blemish spots on a monthly basis and my skin can be sensitve, but this little device just cleared them right up. It took about a day or so, but the spots were no longer visible. The more I use it, I've noticed the less problem areas I have too. Proactiv was the only thing that somewhat worked for me, but it stopped working after a while. My skin looks so much better. No foul odors, no bleach, no chemicals, no drying and irritated skin...I have no complaints here.

Product Rating: 2 Doesnt work on cystic acne
Reviewer: nicole   Sat May 03 2008

I have cystic acne (mild to moderate) My face isnt covered, but I get a lot of big red painful pimples, especially around my mouth and chin. I bought this, because I heard it worked well on these big ol monsters if you used it at the very early stage when it first starts forming under the skin....well, it didnt do much for me. I cant give it only 1 star, because it DID reduce the swelling and pain immediatley after the treatment. But it DID NOT reverse, or even slow the development of the pimple. I have tried it several times with the same exact results.
Bottom line is, I think you can fall in love with this product IF you have a certain kind of acne that it works well on. I dont know what kind it is, but it is not Cystic acne. Do not waste your money on this if you have Cystic Acne.

Product Rating: 5 Finally something that works

Zeno is AMAZING!!! I spent a lot of time and a lot of money looking for a product that works as well as this product. If I feel a pimple popping up I just zap it right away and it starts to slowly get smaller throughout the day!!! LOVE IT! It is so critical that you use it when the pimple first pops up though because if you let it get big, the harm to your skin is already done. It is great to use in the morning and evening. Overall, an impressive product. Finally, no more dry skin from topicals. Hallelujah!

Product Rating: 5 Extremely satisfied with zeno

Let me start by saying I have seen definite questionable patterns on this site (and others) regarding poor Zeno reviews, and I'll just leave it at that. Unfortunately with really good products, there are always people that try to discredit a product's effectiveness. Extremely disappointing! However, despite all this nonsense, the clinical data doesn't lie. I know from personal experience that Zeno really works. At first, I didn't believe Zeno's clinical data that 90% of pimples resolve within 24 hours, until I tried it myself. Read the manual. Follow the directions. Use the product properly. Decide for yourself, not some person on a website that can write anything they want and you don't know a thing about them. You can get it at many retail stores and doctors offices, so I would just try it for yourself. You can always return it within 30 days (no trouble) if it doesn't work for you. Give it 30 days though, and take the time to learn how to use it properly on new pimples. Make sure you charge it overnight when you first get it too (just like a cell phone).

I purchased a Zeno the other day for $150. The first one I bought would not power on to the green light. I returned the product to Walgreens and went to another store. I bought another one and this time the Zeno doesn't power on at all. Definitely poor craftsmanship, and now that I've read more reviews it appears to only be for pimples at the earliest stage, and very mild acne. Very poor product, definitely do not recommend. I feel bad for the people who actually enjoy the product because I have a feeling they will be breaking easily in the future.

Product Rating: 5 I would buy Zeno again! Love it!

My experience from Zeno is that it works just like it says. I have fair skin and mild to moderate acne. I go through one tip about every 6 months, so Zeno is worth every penny to me. Zeno has actually saved me money in doctor's visits for cortisone shots, etc.. A lot of my pimples only take one treatment and are gone the next day. According to the instructions, Zeno uses low dose heat to get rid of bacteria that cause most pimples. The heat feels good, almost soothing. Last night, I used Zeno before bed and this morning the zit was COMPLETELY gone (after just ONE 2.5 minute treatment). The occasional really huge pimples could take 2 to 4 treatments though. It depends on the pimple. You just kind of learn what works best for you.

Some general "rules of thumb" to remember are to use it when you first see the pimple form (if your pimple has a white head, it is too late). If you wait a day or two, you won't get as good of results. If you don't use the Zeno for the entire 2.5 minute treatment, you also won't get the intended result (press the green timer button to start the 2.5 minute treatment). The nice thing about the big pimples is that it immediately reduces the swelling that hurts really bad. I have only had one pimple that Zeno did not work on, but I'm not sure the "bump" was actually a pimple. My dermatologist has reminded me of that!

In fact, I am so "sold" that I am giving a couple Zenos to family and friends for presents this holiday season. I tried it because I knew I had nothing to lose, since I could return it within 30 days and get all my money back if it didn't work. I'm so glad I did! Zeno is worth every penny because it has saved my social life, it is dermatologist recommended, and it really works!

I've found that Zeno works great on mild to moderate acne. It's great for those inopportune times when zits arise. (You know a day before a big presentation or hot date!) I was more motivated to purchase knowing they have a 30 day return policy.

Side note - The replacement tips might be an added cost but it really does help maintain my Zeno to assure the proper heat is being distrubted.

i have a variety of zits in various stages. After three days I can tell you Zeno worked on none of them. Some look even larger than before using Zeno. What a waste and what a huge disappointment.

i got my zeno about a week ago and i hate it. not only does it do absolutely nothing for average pimples, it makes small ones worse! i was really excited the first day so i tried it out on even the tiniest of pimples. other than a couple gigantic red marks for a few hours there was no imediate change as i'd anticipated... until the next morning when i woke up to find actual big pimples where the tiny one's had been zenoed the previous night. for some reason i tried it again- big mistake. after zenoing the littlest pimple about 2-3 times it had turned into a giant monster on my face that is definately still there and not getting any smaller. i hate zeno, it's sucks; don't buy it.

Product Rating: 4 Save money on tip replacement
Reviewer: Jenni   Fri Sep 07 2007

Using your current Zeno tip as long as it has not used up every use or if it's a new one. This is the procedure: turn on the Zeno and it will start to get hot as it is warming up, place it on the pimple without ever hitting the green button. It will shut off after 30 seconds or so, repeat turning it on again and placing it on the pimple without hitting the green (ready) button. If you continually do this and never hit the green button, you will be able to use the tip and never have to replace it. The computer inside the Zeno counts the number of times you hit the green button and will not work after you press it the 60 or 90 times ect. But since the tip still heats up as its getting ready and slowly cools down after it shuts off, you have a good minute of heat treating your pimple before it shuts off. Treats just as well as if you hit the green button. Enjoy the savings and have a great day.

This product does not seem to work on my blemishes. I have mild and moderate acne. I have seen improvement in very small blemishes, but not in the big ones.

Product Rating: 5 Zeno really works!!!!
Reviewer: Heather   Wed Mar 14 2007

I purchased this product because i knew i could return it in 30 days if it did not work. There is no way i'm returning my zeno. It truly works on my pimples, when i applied it to a huge pimple on my chin (one of those under the skin ones) the pimple started going down and was less sore within 6 hours. Within 3 days it was pretty much gone. This pimple would normally have taken about 7 days to go away. And i didn't even catch the pimple right when it started!! I'm so excited, b/c now i can take charge of my skin, i don't have to spend a whole week with an unsightly blemish on my face. worth the money absolutly!

Product Rating: 2 Not worth the $$$
Reviewer: Crawfokj   Thu Feb 22 2007

I purchased this itme and really didn't notice a difference. I get a few blemishes here and there and it didn't appear to do anything to them when I tried using this product.
The other down fall is the timing on it. Who has a few minutes to sit there with this thing on your face. Call me antsy but it felt like an eternity...and all for one zit. What if you wanted to do more???
