How much is a LITTLE Youthair?

YOUTHAIR says to Massage a (little) Youthair into hair and scalp. How much is a LITTLE Youthair into hair? I have tried YOUTHAIR for about 3 1/2 weeks and have seen NO CHANGE. I am African American. Does this stuff work on African American hair?
Smells and does not work on black hair

This product has a bad smell and colored my hair to a light brown color but was not able to get my hair to dark brown and black. This might work well for someone with a lighter color hair.

I can't believe that I am about to give a positive review of a product that claims to return gray hair to its former color.
I'm a 35 year old male and had more that my fair share of gray hairs. I read enough to satisfy myself that Youthair was safe for use on the scalp so I ordered a bottle hoping, but not expecting it work. I have been using Youthair creme every night before bed for a couple of weeks now and my hair has nearly returned to the dark brown it was in my twenties.
It doesn't "color" the hair, it replaces a naturally occurring substance that the hair no longer produces. The cream itself looks like regular hand lotion. It's kind of like magic. I'm very happy to have found this product.
The only minus so far is the strong smell. It's kind of like a cross between strong soap and a perm. I'd pay 3 times the price if it smelled better. Never-the-less, it's a wonderful product that does exactly what it says if used in the prescribed way. I'd recommend it to anyone wanting to turn back time.

YOUTHAIR will work for you as it has for me.You will need to use a gentle shampoo such as baby shampoo or shampoo for color treated hair and no conditioner to get the desired results. I shampoo twice a week and no more. Apply the Youthair once daily and you will get results also.
this is a greatest lie!

I have been using this product for about one month now and as to bringing back a natural hair color it performs as advertised! Its only drawback is it has a slight odor at first that goes away in an hour or so. My hair is a lot less dry and even my scalp condition seems to have improved.

Bought two bottels and cannot use them.

I am 77 years old and have used this product since I was in my early 40's. I have naturally dry hair and the creme in this product helped my hair better than some of the other watery products that tended to dry it out. I like it better than dye (although I have never dyed my hair, but I see what it does for others.) I am giving one bottle to my daughter who is now in her early 40's and beginning to show some gray.
I look great!

This product makes my 63-year-old hair look perfectly natural, with a little gray--as much as I choose--showing through otherwise light color. People always ask me if I've had my hair highlighted. I like the look a lot better than the super-consistent look of other products. Thank you!!

This product gives excellent results. I have been using it now for three weeks. The grey is almost completely covered. There is a very natural look to my hair that I am just delighted with.

I have been using this product since 4/17 on daily basis but the result is not visible yet. I use the product before
going to bed and wash hair next day morning with Head & Shoulder shampoo. Since I have big gray hair area, so I am using the 2nd bottle of the product to see what difference it makes after complete use. Meantime I would rate this product average.
Looking naturally younger!

I have been using Youthair for just over a year now. Before that I used a very good product which did the same thing but was a lot more time-consuming and quite a bit messier (and then it was discontinued!).
I find Youthair excellent. Some gray hairs don't colour at all, but only a few and - frankly - I'm glad about that because it makes the overall effect seem very natural.
The Liquid version of Youthair doesn't seem to have as strong a smell as the creme, but I don't use the product during the day anyway. I just use it at night, a couple of times a week (I'm over 50 and about 2/3 grey), and shampoo as normal in the morning.
I did find, like other people here, that some shampoos stop the product working as well as it should. And conditioners are an absolute no-no! But that's not a problem: just avoid using a conditioner on those days you are going to 'Youthair'. I use a non-SLS (sodium lauryl sulfate) shampoo with natural ingredients, and that works fine. (And I hardly ever get out into the sun!)
For the record, my hair is naturally mid-brown, fine and prone to being oily.
Good product - and extremely good value (I get through about four bottles a year).
No more Grey

It worked for me - still using it after a year. Be patient it takes about 3 weeks to have a good affect but after that you should see a big difference.
It's a lot easier than using a messy dye and a lot cheaper to. A little bit goes a long way.

I am 50 and have quite a lot of grey hair but I have been using the product for over 12 months and I can't see one grey hair. I live in Australia so I do get a lot of sun. I do find that I don't require a conditioner after I shampoo the Youthair seems to keep my hair in excellent condition. My hair is short and dark and I apply it every second day. I love it and would recommend it to anyone.

I tried this product after regularly being given senior discounts even though I'm 51 years old. I picked it because (a) it covers gradually (b) it seemed natural (c) other reviewers said it didn't smell bad like one of the competitive products did.
It began working pretty quickly, and I really like the fact that it only takes me two minutes in the morning to apply it. Quick and simple, and there is no residual smell that I can determine (and my wife agrees). I quite easily went from very greay/white to a salt-and-pepper look. I'm now deciding if I need to go to a dye to get a little darker, or do I just need to be persistent.
Contains LEAD and is dangerous to your kids.

Here is a description from the box:
"Warnings & Precautions: Contains Lead Acetate. For external use only. Keep out of reach of children."
Lead damages the brains of children. Lead is absorbed into the bones of adults and is dangerous if you become pregnant. Do a search on google and find out more info.
If your children or grandchildren touch your hair or shower in your tub or use your towels they will be exposed to a very hazardous substance. The lead in this product sticks to everything. I was not aware of this until my child became ill.
So before you turn your home into an "EPA Superfund Clean-up Site" think twice. All products that "gradually eliminate gray" have lead acetate. Read the label.
