ok i got this in december and by march it just stopped working, and even when i had it it was working it dryed out my hair soooo much and if there was any heat outside it would frizz up and look worse than befor i straightend it

I bought this flat iron in December and it worked very well on my hair. It made my hair very straight and shiny, and I loved it. However, after a while the red ceramic part started to rub off, and is now almost completely gone. Also, i went to use it today, and it would not heat up. It just stopped working with no warning whatsoever.

I just bought my wigo straightner for around 80 bucks a few weeks ago and it BURNS my hair. It stays good for around an hour but then after that it would all become frizzy again. WASTE OF MONEY!!!

I really liked using this product at first because it straightened well and allowed me to curl and style my hair which is what I wanted. Then, about six months later it just stopped working without any warning at all. It wouldn't heat up at all and it really upset me since every other iron I've purchased in the past hasn't lasted either, but the difference was that I payed $80.00 for this iron and I expected results! It wasn't worth the money since it just burned out on me! What a let down!!!

i bought this iron after my sister got it for christmas. i have very wavy and frizzy hair and even though it sometimes takes 2 or 3 times through my hair to get it as strait as i want, the wigo iron is exactly what i wanted.

I bought this iron about 2 years ago and it works okay if you blow your hair straight first then go over it but otherwise I would suggest something of a higher quality. My hair is really thick, wavy, and has some frizz to it and I plan to buy the Solia 1 1/4" or the Sedu with hopes to cut styling time.

I have hade this flat iron since it came out and it is still working perfectly. I have natually wavy/curly hair and it makes it board straight in no time at all.I use it every day and so do about 2-3 other people. This straightener is great! :)

I purchase this iron less then a year ago and it has gone out twice. The first time I returned it to the company and it took 6 weeks for it's return and now it won't heat up at all. I would not buy this product again!!!!!!

I bought this iron when it first came out and paid almost a hundred dollars for it. I heard so many great things about this "Wigo" hype and finally bought it. What a piece of junk!!! I was convinced since my ex boyfriend used it a lot that the coating wore of from his over usage of product, but now I'm starting to wonder? Anyway, I still made him replace the iron with a Chi which he keeps promising to do and never comes through on. Now he is trying to give me the junky iron back! I've learned a couple things though ladies: Whether its a piece of junk "ceramic" Wigo iron or a lame boyfriend, don't bother even depending on it! My advice, buy a CHI and stay away from losers!!!

After 6 months one side of the flat iron stopped heating up. It barely straightens my hair now. Buy another brand.
I can't even find the name of manufacturer to return it. There is no wigo.com

I've read all the bad reviews for this product but my hairstylist uses Wigo products and she swears by them. I've had this product for about 3 months now and mine is working just the same as it was from the day I got it. I have naturally wavy hair and it works great for me.

I finally broke down and bought this flat iron after having a cheapy "hot tools" one for a couple of years and it worked great. However, after having it for only a few months it's now broke! It got to where only one side would heat up and now nothing heats up! Waist of money!

A really good friend of mine who works in the industry of selling hair care products said this is the best flat iron. She said she went to a convention and was proven it works better than the oh, so popular chee. I had a somewhat good flat iron before but I would have to go over my hair peices more than once. I have natural waving hair and this product works very well. I get my hair straight in half the time. I would recommend everyone who wants to have straight hair in a hurry to purchase this product.

i've had this straightener for about 4 months and for about the first month it was pretty good, but now its just harder to straighten my hair (and i have naturally wavy and curly hair but i use a hair dryer to make it a little straighter). Also, even when its not humid or rainy out, my hair will get frizzy and start to get wavy. So id say dont get this straightener, its a waste.

I had a similar Wigo with the gold plates, which I absolutely loved. I had to return it to be fixed because one side wouldn't heat up. Instead, they sent me this brand new one with the red plates. It is the absolute worst. I have thick wavy hair, and even going over a piece 4-5 times doesn't straighten it. I was thoroughly disappointed, and do not recommend this one to anyone.

I got this straightner at christmas 04, and by now already in april 05 i have to go over one piece of hair at least 3 times to get it straight even after using product. My hairdresser has a steel danico one which I used to have and it works MUCH better then this "Ceramic" straightner. When I leave this one on my vanity it burns it and leaves dark marks on it. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY

I have very thick wavy hair about 6 or 7 inches below my shoulders. With this iron it takes me 45 minutes to straighten my hair. In the end my hair is straight and looks pretty good but it takes forever and my hair always gets caught in the plates and breaks off. My hair usually doesn't stay straight the whole day, by the end of the day I have several waves again. I know there are better flatirons out there, I have heard that Sedu (which i'm buying to replace my wigo) and Solia are good brands to buy.
Do NOT waste your money..

I bought this product and used it ONCE. That's all it took me to convince me this product has a design flaw. First, the plates didn't close tightly so my hair kept falling out of the iron. I had to hold on to the handle tightly to get any type of straightening action. Also, the plates kept pulling my hair out. I returned the merchandise to Ulta and got my money back. I will never buy another Wigo product..poor quality for the high cost.

i have really wavy hair and i dont know what i would do without it. it works pretty good. the only problems are the fly-aways!!!, its takes to long to straighten my hair about 45min-1hour i only have about an hour to ger ready in the morning so sometimes i dont get to eat breakfast. if you have a busy schedual DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!! if you die hair you can see the die wearing off on the straightener. dont leave this product on stained wood it creates a brownish tinge on the straighener. im trying to get a solia so my advice save you money!!!
