I recently bought this product. I have done Japanese Thermal Reconditioning to my hair, so regular curl irons does not work. This iron is able to curl my hair some,- although curls are not as curly as I want them, but it works pretty well. Instructions are little hard to read. I guess I am giving it 4 starts compared to the Sedu flat iron which I bought 1 year ago, which exceeded my expectations..

i love the wigo brand but i burnt out my last model because i kept forgetting to turn it off in the morning. this product looked more "up to date" as it was digital. i could not tell from the description whether it was automatic shut off or not. . . so i took the chance. i guess auto shut off wouldn't work for a professional stylist but i do need it at home!
Wigo Digital Ceramic Curling Iron - Not That Hot

In my opinion, it is not worth the price. I had bought a Revlon Digital Ceramic Iron at a popular drugstore chain. The barrel size was larger - 1.5 inches. It cost less than $20. I searched all over for the 3/4 size - it appears to have be discontinued, so I decided to get the Wigo. It is much more expensive and it does not hold a candle to the Revlon. Disappointed in the product regardless of the price; doubly disappointed given the price in comparison to the Revlon.
MUY BUEN PRODUCTO !!!

This is the best curling Iron I've ever own. It does not burn or frizzes your hair and it takes just a few seconds to heat. The only thing I do not like is the cord. It is hard to move around and becomes very annoying.

Overall, this product is a good. It heats quickly and styles great. I like the digital temp reading, it is easy to read at a glance.
The only thing I do not like is the stiffness of the cord, it makes it hard to move around the bathroom when using other hair products that are also plugged in.
i love this curling iron!

I had been using a standard beauty supply metal curling iron and not only did the curls not look good (or hold well), but my ends were fried. I have chemically straigtened hair (thermal reconditioning) so flatness and dryness are both big problems. This iron changed everything! I got the 1.5 inch. It makes big, loose curls that stay, and also that shine. No more dried out look. It's amazing. I have gotten compliments every day from co-workers and friends who instantly noticed the difference in the styling and shine of my hair. I love this iron!
Shiny Frizz Free Curls

I found this product to be excellent. When I purchased it I also purchased a CHI Faruok iron to compare both. The CHI costed $120 and Wigo costed $50. I was absolutely sure that the Wigo was not going to work be cause I figured if it cost less that it must be of lesser quality. But I was wrong. Wigo work 100% better than the more expensive ceramic hot iron. It gave me perfect shiny frizz-free curls and was very light weight and easy to use. The other iron was heavier and did not curl my hair the same way. My hair became frizzy within a few hours. Wigo is the better buy.
Only problem is the the black coating on the Wigo chips off revealing a metal surface that doesn't quite leave the same shine. And the spring under the handle has a small ball which helps to open and close the iron, this ball keeps breaking off causing the spring to scrap the iron thereby jaming open.
However, even with this problems I still manage to get great curls. I plan to return it for a new Wigo.
It's definitly a great product on your hair.

I have thick coarse hair, and have struggled for years with various attempts to smooth it out. The recent invention of the ceramic straightening tool has been a godsend, but while that tool left my hair straight and glossy, the ends were stiff and limp. This curling iron adds the perfect finishing touch. My hair now looks fantastic. I LOVE THIS THING!

I usually hesitate about buying things that I have never tried before, but I took a change with this curling iron, and I love it. I have naturally latin curly hair, frizzy and I had to used a lot of products ( gels, sprays, mouse, other irons, rolls etc), to keep my curls decent. With wigo curliong iron, it only takes 15 minutes to make my curls lovely anf frizz free. Also they stay curly for days.
Wonderful But Spring Broke

I bought my curling iron about a 2 months ago and it has been the best one I have ever owned. The only thing is there is a little ball that keeps the spring from scraping metal against metal and it kept falling from one side to the other until one day it just broke off. Now I have to return it for a new spring. Oh well!! Until then it has been wonderful.

I use a curling iron to eliminate frizz and to give my hair more little body. I have been using an inexpensive curling iron that I bought in a drug store, but I decided to treat myself to a new one with more features. This curling iron is very easy to use. It has an on-off button and a digital display that is easy to read. You can set the heat on low, high or anything in-between depending on your hair's texture and hairstyle - there are 12 heat settings in all. I use a medium-high setting and the curling heats up in about 40 seconds. The heat setting display will blink until it is heated to the set temperature, so there is no need to guess when it is ready. One feature I love is the swivel cord. It doesn't sound very important, but my old iron didn't have a swivel cord and I was constantly getting the cord tangled. The iron has a 3 year warranty and it even comes with an extra set of replacement springs for the spring-grip handle. I love this curling iron. It really smoothes out my hair and eliminates any frizziness. I am very happy with this purchase.
