Product Rating: 5 Quick and Easy......

It warms up almost instantly. It works beautifully on my hair, almost making it thicker than it already is. It helps me do my hair so fast, that I have to think of other ways to keep my husband waiting for me.

This hair works wonders on African American hair! I have very weird hair. Sometimes its thick and unruly and I have been known to have a bad hair or two or three or four in my day due to that infamous Houston humidity. But since finding this product on the clearance aisle at a local cosmetic store, I am so glad I bought it!!!!!!! This product is a blessing!!!!! My hair is so silky soft after I use the curling iron. Did I mention that Oprah uses it? And if it's good enough for Oprah, then it's darn sure good enough for me! Since discovering Wigo I have invested in the entire product line. I bought the 1.5' curling iron, the three barrel wave iron (my favorite!), the 2 in one flat iron, and finally the Onyx palm dryer which I haven't used yet but if past performance of the other tools proves consistent, I will be pleased to no end with it as well! See my pictures of my hair? Isn't it pretty?

Product Rating: 4 Takes the frizz out.
Reviewer: Lori from San Diego, CA  Thu Apr 17 2008

This it a great item for taking the frizz out of your hair. For my hair type (thick, fine, slight wave), it doesn't seem to get quite hot enough to curl my hair.

Good value for the price, depending on what you are looking for.

I did like this product at first but an hour later I was getting ready to return it. My hair was almost straight again by then and I was on a car ride to a wedding going to be a bridesmaid when I had to ask the bride if I could use hers it waas embaresing. I mean if you curl your hair it should at least last an hour in the car shouldnt it...

Product Rating: 5 Wonderful!
Reviewer: Allison from Ellensburg, WA  Sat Feb 09 2008

I've been looking for a ceramic curling iron that wasn't too expensive but still delivered excellent results without scorching my hair. Enter: Wigo. It's quick, I love the heat locking feature and the digital read-outs, and the curls stay in forever!

Would totally buy it again, and will most likely purchase the 3/4" as well.

The curling iron works well! No complaints so far. If it works well for the next year, I will raise the rating to 5 stars.

Product Rating: 5 Perfect curling iron
Reviewer: Heather from Ohio  Thu Jan 31 2008

Stays hot, quickly heats up, long cord. I own both the 3/4 and 1 & 1/2 inch! Best curling iron ever...works even better if you wrap your hair Around the curling iron with the clamp closed. Curls looks so much more natural!

Product Rating: 5 Great product!
Reviewer: Sharika from Hawaii  Thu Nov 15 2007

In what normally takes me an hour to curl my hair with the cheap curling irons, it took me less than half the time! And the curls were great!

Product Rating: 4 Highly Recommend
Reviewer: Zulma from New York State  Sat Aug 04 2007

This curling iron is wonderful. Leaves my hair soft and extrememly shiny. The only thing prolem I found that the buttons are very sensitive and it shuts off if the button is touched slightly. The locking feature does not really help the matter. But otherwise love the iron!

Product Rating: 3 Just ok
Reviewer: Belinda from Houston, Texas  Wed Jul 25 2007

I think you get what you pay for on this product. I wish I would have paid more $ to get what I really wanted. The Wigo will curl your hair for the time being, but it will not stay that way.

Product Rating: 5 i love it!
Reviewer: nony   Mon Jul 23 2007

It heats up really fast, doesn't damage my hair, and the price is right. The temperature buttons are in a bad place though, you have to lock it or else you will end up changing the temp while you are styling. My hair is very thick and wavy, and I can even straighten my hair with it (the 1") and do some nice curls at the ends.

Product Rating: 5 LOVE IT
Reviewer: Monika from Vancouver, BC canada  Fri Jun 01 2007

I am THE least patient person to curl hair, and after I did just one curl (for 5 seconds!) I was so happy that I didn't just buy a peice of garbage. Normally (with a drugstore curling iron) it would take me 30min just for 1/4 of my head... then I just get so frusterated with it that I abort the curls. Wigo took about 15 mins for my whole head and was SOOOOO easy. I recommend it to anyone that wants a really great curling iron and not pay hundreds of dollars for it. Ive tried expensive curling irons, and this one is just as good! oh ya, and it doubles as a straightener-

Product Rating: 3 It's OK
Reviewer: Teresa from Lake Forest, CA  Tue May 01 2007

I like this curling OK. The price is reasonable, the on/off & temperature control buttons work well. The thing I don't like much about this curling iron is my hair doesn't slide through the clamp very smoothly. For a $50 curling iron, I expected my hair to glide smoothly, but I find my hair gets kind of stuck in the clamp so I have to keep the clamp slightly open to use it. For the price, it's not a bad deal. It's a reasonably nice ionic curling iron which won't damage your hair unlike ordinary curling irons.

Product Rating: 1 POOR PERFORMANCE
Reviewer: Venita Foster from Alabama  Mon Apr 16 2007

This is the WORST CURLING IRON I have ever purchased. The gold plated barrel pulls my hair. The rubber handles allow little flexibility for maneuvering. The metal stand is loose, therefore it gets in the way of curling the hair. It does not even fit any part of the curling iron. This is a sheer waste of my money and I would recommend that no one buys any WIGO curling iron. I will defilitely return this product and request a full refund.

This is the second curling iron I purchased from Folica - the first was the 3/4 and the second 1". I needed a professional iron and the ones they sell in the stores and on line are not good enough for me. These are perfect! They were exactly what I needed to curl my very, very straight hair and they actually work better than I expected!

Product Rating: 3 Decent Job Curling but Doesn't Last
Reviewer: Robin from Florida  Mon Apr 02 2007

If you have long, straight hair and lots of it, this does a decent job curling it, but it doesn't last. I think I am also going to order the 3/4" (I purchased the 1"). I like it better than the 1-1/2" Chi I have.

Product Rating: 5 Great Curling Iron
Reviewer: Erica from Santa Monica, CA  Mon Apr 02 2007

Heats quickly, swivel cord is nice, I always use it on the highest heat. I have very straight hair and this gives me nice bent ends. Not good for having curls, more for a round brush look. I don't use a round brush so this works perfectly. Holds up to ocean air pretty well.

Product Rating: 5 I LOVE My Wigo!
Reviewer: C from NJ  Fri Mar 23 2007

I purchased mine (1 inch barrel) about three years ago and it just died. I will be purchasing the same exact one thenext time I do my hair. I am African-American and I have natural hair. This curling works wonders on my hair - in fact I can roller set it and straighten my hair with my curling iron and cut out the blow drying all together!

Product Rating: 5 I like it!
Reviewer: anonymous   Mon Mar 12 2007

I have straight, fine strands of hair but a lot of it [a pretty thick overall mane] so I was worried from some of the reviews that this would not grab my hair well enough. But it works quite well. The barrell is really smooth so you never feel like you are scraping your hair through the clamp. It doesn't fry my ends even though I keep it on the highest heat setting. You can lock the heat setting you want by double-clicking the ON button, which is a nice feature. The cord is totally tangle-proof. The only thing I wish it had was an automatic shut-off.

Product Rating: 3 dials in wrong spot
Reviewer: Anonymous from CA  Thu Mar 01 2007

I returned this item due to the placement of the on off and heat settings I kept hitting the settings when trying to use the curling iron and it would turn off or raise or lower the heat setting. Other than that it seemed to be nice. Linda
