I bought this iron in November and truly regret my purchase! I do not have difficult hair to straighten; however, this iron has turned my hair into straw! It tears the end of my hair off and gives it a harsh, awful texture. I had no idea a straighting iron could make your hair look WORSE after you used it! I would buy a discount pharmacy straightener before this one. TERRIBLE!!!
good..but

I bought this straightener and used it for a few months. I turned it on and waited for it to heat up while I did my make-up. I parted my hair and luckily I start at the bottom and go to starighten the first piece and hear the damn thing sizzle. It completely fried my hair right off. It left a huge burn mark and then it all fell off. I am furious. The plastic melted my the plates. I do not recommend this product to anyone.
works great...for me at least

wow, this straightening iron works pretty darn good for my hair type. i have medium thickness, wavy hair with some visisble curls here and there, and this hair straightener does a great job straightening my hair, without taking too much time to do the job.
Its ok....

I currently have a cheaper straightner and it works a little better than this one I just paid 70.00 for. This is NOT WORTH the money and I wish I would have read these reviews before I purchased this product. I have the same complaints, you have to constantly squeeze the straightner and it DOES NOT give you that "smooth" look you want when your hair is straight. Just kind of dull and poofy!
Ok.. Badly designed

I bought this product at a local Ulta, for $60 it took forever to straighten my hair. normally it never would take me more then an hour. but i had to squeeze my brains out from the root to the end. Thankfully i saved the box. i will deff return it soon. it left my hair OK but it didn't get my roots well. also, a lot more hair fell off then usual.

I previously left a positive review about this straighter, but I would like to retract it. I’ve had this straighter for say, 6 months maybe a bit more, and now it just stoped working (it no longer heats up at all). I’ve treated it with care and normal use and now I have to pay to return it and for Wigo to fix it. I’m completely dissatisfied with this and wish I never bought it! Beware! If I get my money back I’ll be buying a completely different and better brand.
Ok if you don't mind the pain...

The first time I used it, I tried it with damp hair. It left my hair straight, and not frizzy at all. However, it KILLED my wrist. The "ergonomic" design is horrible. I used it again today, and had to quit because it is so hard to squeeze the straightener. I had previously used cheaper Hot Tools, and I actually liked it better because it wasn't hard to use. I'm returning the Wigo and going to get a Sedu or HairArt T3 - they seem worth the price.
It's okay...

The Wigo works great but I'm taking it back to the store today actually because when I use it for like 15 minutes or so, my wrist is killing me because of the horrible design of the grip. There's no easy way to hold this thing and I don't think that I would recommend it to anyone. If you don't mind the pain, go for it- it does what it's supposed to do...
very nice

I enjoyed my new straightener. I don't really use it with my completely damp hair because I have thick hair. I usually almost completely dry my hair and then my hair looks amazing!!!
It's pretty good

The straighter works pretty good, a bit better than the ones you buy at department stores. It does actually work pretty well on damp hair I was surprised. I’ve only have it for about a month now, and it still works as good as it did when I first started using it, and I use it at least once a day. I wouldn’t recommend it if you have super thick and curly hair, my hair is medium thickness and wavy and I have to use it on the highest temperature for it to work. If your planning on investing in a good hair straighter I would recommend spending a bit more for a higher quality one. Next time I think I will. I’m not totally disappointed, but I’m not amazed either.
