The wigo ceramic works great at first.. but then after about 3 months, it lost its ability to straighten my hair. It wouldn't heat up and it would be useless after i ran it through one peice of hair. I could lay my hand on the plate without a burn, it would only be slightly warm. I have extremely thin and easy to straighten hair, and it wouldnt even work for me. I do not reccomend this product!

My daughter just got one of these for a present from her grandma... I sure do hope it works longer for us then it has for others!!! It REALLY works great for her. I even used it too. We have REALLY thick hair and mine is curly. It has done the job better than any other we have used. Hope it lasts!!!!
Stopped working after one month

This flat iron stopped working after one month. I notified the company, and they promptly shipped another one at no charge, but that one only lasted about 6 months. I would not recommend this flat iron. It's not dependable enough for the money.

This iron worked really good and did an awsome job on my hair. But like its been about two months and it wont heat up at all.

i got this straightener as a gift last year, and it worked really great for a while, better than any other one I had used before, and then it just randomly stopped heating up one day... which was really annoying! i wouldnt reccomend this to anyone because you are just going to spend over $80 on a straightener that breaks a month after you buy it!

i bought this flat iron 2 days ago... and so far it is working better than any other striaghtener i got, but i fear it wont last long after reading all the reviews. i spent over $80 for this iron, and the sales lady told me i CAN NOT return it if something goes wrong with it, i can only exchange it. That right there scared me... but i NEEDED one and i have a CHI allready and that one stopped getting hott... i bought so many flat irons and none have last. there breaking my pockets. im tired of buying flat irons and then they dont last or break or dont striaghten my hair! i bought this Wigo and im having doubts. :(

It doesn't heat up very fast, and now one of the plates died on me, might as well throw it away, i didn't use it that often though.. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone, plus to me, anything more than 10 dollars is an investment.

My sister and I both have this iron. At first it works really really well but both of them have just stopped getting hot all of a sudden. Its annoying! Now i have to buy a new one!

I recieved this iron as a Christmas gift, it lasted 3 months after that since the Iron has a 3 year warranty we sent it back and got a new one which only lasted for 5 days!!! Now we are waiting on the third striaghtener to be sent. Just for FYI I went to Target today to buy a straghtner just to get me through until I got the 3rd Wigo in the mail and I found an exact replicate Vidal Sasoon has a Ceramic striaghtener with 25 settings at just $30.00. But all in all I am very dissapointed in this product and I don't recommend it to anyone!!

I bought this flat iron thinking it would be better for my hair since it's ceramic. I went in having pretty high expectations and I was seriously let down. I thought it would be better than my Hot Tools flat iron because of its price, but it didn't live up to the hype. I wouldn't recommend this straightner and mine got a lot of buildup on the plates so it didn't glide through my hair easily. Now I have to invest in another flat iron.

My friend has this exact hair straightener and I use hers ALL the time. My hair is naturally VERY curly and in 20 min tops i can go from full out curls to straight. My straighteners each take at least an hour, but ususally longer, to straighten my hair. I am definately looking in to get one of these for when I go to college. I love the 12 settings because not everyone has the same hair type, and 12 gets REALLY hot and leaves your hair stick straight.

This flat iron got my hair perfectly straight and smooth. The heat setting ranges from 1 to 12, and it never leaves my hair smelling burnt like other flat irons I've used. The curved plate edges really do flip the ends of your hair. I think that this was worth every dollar.

I bought this iron about a year ago, and I loved it until this past weekend, in the middle of using it, it just died on me! Now it won't get hot at all anymore, and I am shopping for a new iron! I won't buy a WIGO, for fear it won't last very long!

I got this flat iron adn it was the worst ever. It took me twice as long to straighten my hair as my regular one does. I have a regular Hot Tools and it got hotter and worked better. Not to mention the Wigo made my hair frizzier than ever. My advice, don't buy this product, spend your money on a better one if you are already willing to spend this much.
