I had a pink chi was was a great straignter, but it wasn't very good. do NOT be fooled by the cool colors and the fabric, it's not the worse i used but it is not great. and i would not recommend this. wigo is ok but nothing like CHI. GO CHI!!! ha ha.
I LIKE IT!

My hair stylist used a CHI on my already straight hair. At first I didn't know what she was doing, and then I saw the result. My hair didn't look frizzy (my hair is damaged from excessive highlighting) and it looked smooth. I wanted to get one but they are expensive and most of the models don't have heat control. I bought my WIGO at ULTA and it was on sale. It looks beautiful so I really wanted it. It wasn't much less than the CHI.
Performance-
It won't curl my highlighted thin hair. My hair is naturally straight. I consider it thin my friend said it is kind of normal and it won't curl it. For straightening and frizz reduction it doesn't work well. I feel like if you have naturally curly hair this won't work on you at all! I will admit that I haven't straightened my own hair in about 5 years and I may need to practice some. Also, I put it on the lowest heat setting, maybe thats why it isn't working? I'm not entirely positive. It does snag and some of my hair got stuck in the plates, this could be because of the type of plates. They are those new plates that a lot of straighteners have, Flexi Plates. My friend has naturally curly hair and goes through straighteners every few years and she said she hates these new plates. Her new Zoe straightener has them, but she still loves the straightener.
I would not recommend this to people with curly hair. I wouldn't recommend this to reduce frizz.
I'm probably going to return it. I just think it's REALLY cute. I love the 3 year warranty which CHI doesn't have.
