  Directions:

i just recieved mine yesterday. omggg it's the most amazing iron, i've EVERRRR used!!! =) it makes my hair completely smooth, silky, and shiny..... plus it curls my hair too!!! i love the little waves i get. i would deff reccommend this iron to every girl who needs one. and for the price.... pppffftttt..... you can't beat that!!!! best 60 bucks i ever spent <3

I already have straight hair, so I use flat irons to add volume, waves, and curl to my hair... It was not very good for curling - it almost seemed like the plates had too much grip (I never realized there was such a thing). When I would start twisting the flat iron around my hair, the plates would grip my hair so tight that I would have to let the clamps go for fear of burning my hair. I tried holding the clamps together more loosely, but then my hair would just slip out. Another thing that I've noticed - and this is the biggest turn off - is that the red paint near the plates is starting to flake off. Usually I have to use a fine-tooth comb to brush the little glittery flakes out of my hair before I leave the house. (Obviously this is because my hair causes friction along these edges when I am curling.. But I've never had this happen with any other flat iron before.) I don't think everyone will have these issues, only people who use flat irons to curl, wave or add body their hair. If someone were to use it for ONLY straightening their hair they would probably get pretty decent results.

The straightener, is AMAZING. it took me like half the time it usually takes me to straighten my hair every morning before school. and it was windy and kinda humid outside, but my hair stayed straight all the day long! and after i got home from school, i had to go to a concert so i curled(waved) my hair and it was just so AWESOME it actually made my hair shiney and waving it worked. it just worked so well. everyone should have this. and also the sedu spray makes my hair so soft. and the pop up brush w/ mirror is so useful for your purses

I have mainly straight hair that flips at the ends and bought this straightener for the purpose of styling eg.straightening, making my hair wavey and curling it. It claims (in the descripion of the straightener) that it does all these things so I thought that this would be the styler for me. But it barely waves my hair, and nowhere near to curls it. Plus if I do get my hair wavey then the waves don't stay in for very long at all. The only thing I'm happy with is the way it straightens my hair. It's not like awesome but it gets the flips straight. I'm really bummed about how it won't curl my hair though... My advice: if you are looking to JUST straighten your hair then get this one.

I just got my set in today and I was more than excited from reading all these great reviews. Right after I opened my package and turned on my hot iron the red light turned off. I'm confused if that means its at it's hottest temperature or if mine's defective, because shouldn't the light turn green? and not just completely turn off? hopefully someone can answer this question for me. Other than that confusion the iron gets really really hot and straightened really well.
