If you are not sure it will work for you and are hesitant to by this product, you can try testing the technique with a bobby pin. I used to get my black heads arround my nose and my on cheecks with a bobby pin and it worked fine but using this tool is much more easier because of the way it is designed and it's more gentle on the skin. If you can get a bobby pin to do the job for you, you'll be amazed how much better and easier this tool will make it for you. I always use the thinner side. The trick is to start up high ( the pores around your nose) and then push down and slowly slide it down your face over all of your clogged pores. Then I wipe it clean with a cotton pad with alcohol on it and do it again right next to the area I just did. It works great if you do it this way. It also helps to put some kind of acne cream over all the areas when you are done to really clean them. it works so good when you press it hard enough for blackheads it is so discusting to see all of the crud come out of their and i got alittle obsesed over doing it, why are people saying it took so long? i got mine today and i got it working in like 20min! thanks so much and u should so buy this I bought one a few months ago and never got it to work! Does anyone else find it odd that all that are happy with it say "you just need some practice" but never say how, I'm wondering if they work for the company and we're just getting taken for a ride. If there is someone out there that really has gotten it to work, could you help the rest of out by telling us how please? I've had this for years. I've tried and practiced, practiced and tried to get this down to a science and it just doesn't work. Maybe 1 out of 10 tries. I've always tried it after a steamy shower when my pores are steamed. Nothing. I rarely even pull it out anymore because it just doesn't work and leaves me frustrated. Read all 33 customer reviews ...
