First wash your face VERY thuroughly with an exfoliating scrub, then steam your face or place a hot washcloth on your face before you use the tweezerman in order to open up your poors.
Make sure you are pressing hard enough with the flat tip that you're seeing the dirt and buildup over your skin. Each time you run it along your face, use a cottonball with astringent on it to clean the tip before you bring it back up to your face. If you don't clean the tip every time, your inviting all that blackhead dirt back into your freshly cleaned poors and it could cause a major break-out.
Try to be gentle on the sensitive parts of your face (lower cheek, jaw area, upper lip, and nose cartilage) because you can bruise them if pressing too hard. If it hurts a lot, don't do it. Stick to the T-Zone areas (Forehead, Chin, sides of nose) and you'll see why you should be using this tool.
Oh, and try to limit yourself from using this tool a couple times a week, just don't use it everyday. It is a little rough on your skin so you should let it rest for a day or two before using it again. Besides, you won't need to use it every day because its so effective that you won't have blackheads for a few days sometimes even a week. I use mine once a week.
