Hey guys I bought the True Ceramic Pro about 5 years ago and I am very satisfyed with it. I just bought a new one because the metal plate underneath the red paint was showing and it didn't turn on anymore. I discovered that this only happened because of the products they send together with the iron. So my advice to you guys is DO NOT USE THE PRODUCTS THEY SEND TOFETHER WITH IT!!!! It is just so that the iron's life will be short and make you buy a new one. I didn't use the product for 3 or 4 years before it started to peel off the red paint, which was about the same time I tryed to use the product they sent me with it. I just bought a new one and I threw away the products they sent me. The True Ceramic Pro is EXCELLENT!!! I recommend it to everyone!!

I bought the "TruCeramic Pro" about 3 years ago. I was so excited when I seen the informecials. I'm a mixed girl so my hair is really thick and curly. Before I bought it I read some reviews and I many of them complained about the so called "Ceramic plates" peeling to reveal a metal bottom and later shorting out and not working at all, but me being as naive and hard-headed as I am I had to see for myself. So I bought it and I was sooo excited to use it. It worked beautifully in the beginning. But as predicted, little by little, the "Ceramic Plates" began to peel and out came the ugly metal plates. A few months later it shorted and I wasn't able to turn it on at all. Ohh! And not to mention the so called moisture it was "looking in" was a bunch of bologna spit! My hair has been dry and frizzy ever since. Just what I need frizzy-ness with my curly hair. Don't buy it. Its a waist of money and harmful to your hair.

I am a hairstylist and have been for about 20 yrs. I know quality when I see it.I needed a iron that would give me the quality and sheen I look for in hair. I've had this iron for 4 years NO PROBLEM whatsoever. I saw this on tv early one morning and it really caught my eye because of the results. I immediatley called and ordered. It was delivered 4yrs ago and I still have it.My clients as well as other stylists ask where i get such a great iron so I told them. It was really worth the almost $200.00 I paid for. I got all of that back and more. I am definitely going to order another for back up. Thanks Alot. Don't delete this item. I see it is much cheaper now which is great.
Like it very much!!

I've had my iron for 3 or 4 years. When I got it I was so excited, and used it without putting hairspray on my hair for shine. Using the True Ceramic Pro, made my hair soft, silky and with much bounce. They need to put this back on the market, before mine dies out!!..lol
It's an amazing product.
not worth the money

this product is not worth the outragious amount of 99.00, plus the 40 dollars total in shipping (there was a 16.00 expedite charge they failed to mention when I placed the order), and it by no means got to me in a speedy amount of time. I used it for about 4 months and the cord started shorting out, so I called to see about getting a replacement, and of course I have to pay the shipping to send the broken one back, and then pay shipping again for them to send me a new one. So, we'll see how long it takes to get the new one,and whether this one ends up shorting out as well. As far as the products functionality, it straightens fairly well, but has not been worth the trouble, I could have bought a nicer flat iron at a beauty supply store for either the same amount, or less, and not had to pay an arm and a leg for shipping, let alone not have anything to use, since I have to ship the defective one back.

I bought this product for my daughter maybe 3-4 yrs ago. she has a lot of very thick curly hair, and while i love her curls, she hates them. so my personal mission was to try to find her a flat iron that would flatten/straighten her hair the way she wanted it and make her happy. The true ceramic pro is by far the only product on the market that was able to make that happen for her and believe me i have literally tried them all. I am extremely happy to have able to give her what she's always wanted. But i would not have been able to do it without you. So thank you very much. keep this product on the market.

I purchased my CeramicPro about 3yrs ago , and it worked very well for me for awhile.. I was so excited about the product because I have long curly hair and it is very thick, and it did wonders for me, I could have done a hair commerical... My friends and sister in-laws loved it. Then one day I was out of town and I was using it on my sister in-law and my self, and while I was using it I heard this big Pop sound ,with a spark come from the end where I was holding it, I immedialtely put it down I unpluged it ,thinking maybe it was the socket, So I moved to anoter one and It did it again with a firey spark, and it stop working. I was very disappointed , I paid nearly $200.00 for this product... I was getting ready to call and try to purchase anoter one, But I am so glad that I looked at these comments to see that I wasn't the only person to have a shocking experience. So no buy .... Cha

I have had my TCP for at least 4 years. I have let my family and friends borrow it and don't know how they would treat it, to this point it has not yet to break or die on me. So yes it's a product that I would recommend anyone to buy. My hair stylist recommended I buy this expensive iron, and instead I seen this TCP on TV and I ordered it right away. It's been a beauty.
Work like a charm...for 3 months!

The True Ceramic Pro worked amazingly for 3 months, then one day it just wouldn't turn on or heat up. I took extremely good care of the tool, so obviously there is glitch with tool. Now I can no longer get my money back. This deal was a waste of my money and time!!!

I bought my tcp in Feb. 07. I paid over $160.00 for a product that quit working in July 07. Since I didn't buy the extended warranty (didn't think I needed to after spending 160.00 for the tcp), there is NOTHING TCP company will do for me. I would love to have it repaired, but they won't. I wish I would have read all of the awful reviews on this piece of junk before I shelled out all of that money. RIP OFF!!!! Do not even think about buying one. I'm telling anyone who will listen!!

The True Ceramic Pro worked well for about 3 months than we started smelling a burnt odor and the whole thing never heated up anymore. This whole thing seems like a scam.

I purchased this product approximately 6 months ago and it has stopped working. True Ceramic Pro Customer service was not helpful at all. If you purchase this product you take the chance that it will not work after the company's 30-day return policy. Obviously, the manufacturer knows what it is doing with that short return period. I recently purchased a Chi iron and it has a 1 year guarantee.
Works like a charm!

I purchased this item several years ago. I too had the "ceramic"-peeling-off-problem. The company contacted me via a recall card, and sent a brand new iron (never even asked for the old one back-it still works, just doesn't look too great) My Daughter and I use it daily, and have never had any problems.

I bought the true ceramic pro about 6 months ago. I used it 4 times and it completely stopped working . I was so incredibly angry that I paid payments and bought this expensive product that I got in the mail still stopped working so soon. It was rediculous that this expensive product didn't come with a warranty ( you had to pay extra to get the extra warranty!! ) I will definitely NEVER buy a product from ceramic pro!!!
