I bought this product in January and by June it stopped working. It didn't have a very good grip in the first place. I would definitely not recommend this iron to anyone.

My Mother bought me this straightener awhile ago from a hair supply store. It got the job done at first and heated quickly. Then it started to have a burning smell when you turned it on and doesn't keep your hair straight that long after you use it. It damages your hair even when I used heat protection. It makes a lot of hair come out too. I don't recommend this product.

I bought this at a beauty supply store. The lady convinced me to get this instead of a CHI. Big mistake it doesnt stay hot anymore!!!! My friend has a CHI in the worse possible conditions and it still works great!!!

this is the worst hair straightner ever!!!! i got last christmas and right after i got it it started getting this nasty residue on it and it wouldn't come off and about 4 monthes ago it started making this burning smell!! oh and it took out half of my hair!!! And it never even worked and the only reason i kept was because it was my first and i thought that was how they were supposed to be but then my friend came over and said that she had had one of these and it was the worst!!! SO DO NOT BUY ONE!! Please do not waste your money>>>>

i bought this for 120 at my hairsalon, and it was great at first it got the job done, but then about 2 months later it wasent staying hot, and it made my hair look/feel greasy and eventually it had nasty resedue on the plates and it ouldent come off, and it isnt worth your money at all.

Product Rating: 1 I hate it.

It doesn't stay hot. It's not worth the money you pay for it. I have thick/wavy hair, and the $20 straighteners I've previously always gotten work better. It's totally a waste of money.

It takes about an hour to actually get my hair straightened with this flat iron, and it's a waste of time because an hour after that my hair looks like crap, it's frizzy and looks like I did a 60 second straightening job when I did it. And, they won't let me return it and get my money back, I can exchange it for the same thing, which I did thinking mine wasn't working right .. well I brought the second one home and the same thing. It still sucks, and I'm stuck with it.

It's just horrible. Better off getting a $20 Conair.

I've used nice expensive straighteners before, but thought I'd try one that was more budget conscious after my nice one crapped out. Mistake...I'll never go cheaper again, because I know what I could have, and I don't have it with this iron. It's just OK, but I recommend another brand...I've already ordered the Solia...we'll se how I like it!

Product Rating: 3 Dissapointed.

I've had this flat iron for four months and it's already falling apart. The coating on the plates is coming off and there's a really gross residue on the plates too that won't come off. Another problem I've had is that it won't stay hot.

I just bought this flat iron. I have very thick, and curly hair. I get new groth very fast. I usually dread washing my hair, cuz I know that im going to have to straighten it. So i tried this one and it did the job. I straightned my new growth and my kitchens. I have been through quite a few flat irons, this is the best one i have used so far! YAY ME!

I have always used store bought straighteners, they work "ok" but they always took forever to use and usually end up quit working after about 1/2 a year. I have never been able to get that sleek just stepped out of the salon look that I love until I bought this straightener! It works amazing. It's like straightening your hair with alittle piece of heaven! It heats up so fast, slides smoothly over your hair, and leaves it feeling SOOO soft! I have super wavy/course hair it makes my hair look amazingly straight.

Product Rating: 4 Works Great!

Never used a flat iron before because my long hair was naturally very straight. That was until I got a shoulder length layered (more than usual) hair cut. I needed a flat iron so my ends wouldn't curl out all the time and also to make my bangs parted to the side look sleeker. This was my first flat iron purchase and so far it works really well! It's light, has a long cord, easy to use, heats up in 60 seconds, and gets the job done quick. Although I can't really compare it to other brands or models out there, but I'm satisfied w/ my results.
