Works FANTASTIC!

Being Israeli, I have extremely thick and curly hair which, as many women know, is such a hassle; especially when trying to find decent styling products for our hair. I saw this straightener at Walgreens and thought that it may be a reliable styling tool (especially because BedHead products tend to work well on my hair), so I figured I'd give it a try. Since I was going on a trip to Baltimore that day I left my CHI straightener at home and decided to gamble on the BedHead straightener for Thanksgiving vacation. The straightener worked miracles! It worked so well that I tossed the CHI straightener and I now sware by it. It heats up to 400 degrees, but you don't even need all of that in order to achieve that perfect silky, straight, smooth style we all desire. It's affordable, efficient, and reliable. It turned my afro into silk and best of all (when you use Got2B Heat Appliance Spray in the orange, pyramid shaped bottle [which you can purchase from Walgreens, as well]), your hair stays silky smooth and straight all day. No curled up ends, no frizz, just silky straight, worry-free hair! I recommend to all of my friends!

I bought this, but not from folica.com. I bought it to replace the Babyliss Pro that I've had for about 4 years. I DO NOT like this flat iron at all. I like Bed Head products & that's why I bought the flat iron...big mistake! It DOES NOT get as hot as it claims, it snags my hair, & I have to keep going over & over it to get it sort of straight. The lights that it has on both sides top & bottom quit working on one side after having it only 4 days. I haven't dropped it, or anything to cause that. I've owned it for 1 week & I'm returning it to store I bought it from!!!!! I ordered a Chi from folica.com & can't wait to get it!
DONT buy thiss

Unless you want to waist your money do not buy this. I bought it about a week ago. It hurts you hair so bad, the blades are rough, and it doesn't get up to 400 degrees like it says. The only thing good about it is it straigtens bangs well.
I hate it !

I have really thick, curly hair and my curls are really tight. I bought this straigthner months ago but I hate it. I got the 2 inch and yahh it has fast heat but it takes forver to starighten my hair. Plus, 2 hours later my hair is all wavy . Looks cool, but terrible performance. Dont get just cause it may look cool, I promise you.

Whatever you do, don't waste your money and time on this piece of junk. It took me forever to press my hair and it still left it dull and frizzy and just unhealthy looking. It may look cool, but don't let looks fool you.
Not the Best

I bought this about a year ago because I love Bedhead products, and the color was amazing! I have since used other irons, and I believe that it is definately not worth the price. It often snags my hair and I can clearly see the damage it has caused. You could buy an iron of the same quality for half the price.
this is dispicable!!!!

This is a terrible don't be fooled by the pretty color of it and the fact that it is from bed head. The first I used it it put black streaks through my hair! And I just got my touch up! I paid $235 on my hair just to have it ruined by that stupid straightener! and i had to buy both of them with my own money, and I'm only 14!! By the way, my hair was BLEACH BLOND!!!!! Don't buy straightener!!!!!!!!!!!
not worth it

this straightner is definietly not worth the amount of money that it costs. It straightens but you cant get that perfectly straight look and it takes FOREVER. My hairs not even that curly and i have to go over sections probably 3 times.
terrible !

I cant even beleive i made my mother spend 80.00 on this piece of junk. Sure it heats up fast and looks cool and everything but it takes FOREVER to straighten my hair. i have curly long-ish hair and it takes me an hour. it does NOT work on damp hair and you can feel your hair burning off and it damages hair to the extremes. bedheads such a good brand but they need to come up with a plan b. their straighteners suck. if i fully concentrate on getting my hair to be pin straight that lasts.....for two minutes tops. then the ends start to curl. good thing to use with humidity? god no. its terrible. please listen and dont spend your money. buy a Solia, theyre AWESOME straighteners that are the same price as these pieces of junk!
Dont buy this!

This straightner onlly works in the winter timne when it's not 95 degrees outside. I live in florida, where the humidity is horrible, and there is no way that this product is going to keep my hair straight. Good for curling, but not straightning
SNAGGER!

It snags my hair ALL THE TIME!
It gets annoying because sometimes when I'm lucky, it works really well, but other times, I just give up!
And when I use straightening products, it gets all nasty and I have to clean it almost every week!
I'm tossing this one and buying a Solia!
I my mom had to buy mine for $80.00 bucks at Target!
She is sooo regretting it now!
SUCKS!!!

this flat iron do not straighten your hair, and it almost doubled the regular time that i take to straighten my hair. My conair infiniti worked better than this. i thought since the bed head products worked the best that it would be a good buy.......but DONT be fooled by the hot pink color!!!!!!!!!!!

It might be just me, but my bed head straightener snags my hair like no other. It hurts. I have thick long hair and I used to use a Wet to Straight straightener from Walmart but after 1.5 years or so I needed a new straightener. I asked my Dad for a Sedu or Solia straightener (Might as well buy a good one right?) He bought me this bed head straightener.
The thing hardly straightens my hair (all I have is wavy hair that is mostly straight anyway) and constantly snags and I can already tell I'm getting thermal damage, even when using thermal protection.
Don't waste your money.
DO NOT BUY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is the worst flat iron I have ever used. And for the price you have to be joking! It doesnt get very hot, it is horrible. Save your money for a Chi or GHD.

I have really extremeley curly hair. This straightner takes a little longer and frys my hair.if you use protectant spray it makes you hair softer and protects it from breakage and if you don't have protection spray try putting it on 375 instead of 400.it will work i promise!!!!!
Looks cool but really awful

I had really thick hair, but now its extremely thin. I soon realized it was from my straightener. I bought a Rusk and the heat was so hot on my hair, even on the lowest setting it still burnt it to pieces. So i decided to get this straightener. I used it and it made my hair frizzier than god knows what, and it just broke my ends off. I HIGHLY DO NOT recommend this product at all. If you want to get a good straightener try the Cricket. If your hair is thick and not broke off try just the Cricket. If its thin and broke off get Cricket Friction Free.!!
Okay to smoothe, but not straighten

My Solia broke (my fault) and I thought I'd save some money and get this one. I never thought my Solia was that great (although good, I didn't see why it was worth $80) until I used this thing. I'd say if you are just wanting to smoothe out your hair...okay, but if you want to really straighten it it's not good. In fact, you couldn't really tell that I had straightened it after I got done. I'm taking it back and have reordered the Solia. So overall, it didn't really work for me. I think maybe on some hair types it might work better. I'm medium length, wavy rather thick hair.
