Being Israeli, I have extremely thick and curly hair which, as many women know, is such a hassle; especially when trying to find decent styling products for our hair. I saw this straightener at Walgreens and thought that it may be a reliable styling tool (especially because BedHead products tend to work well on my hair), so I figured I'd give it a try. Since I was going on a trip to Baltimore that day I left my CHI straightener at home and decided to gamble on the BedHead straightener for Thanksgiving vacation. The straightener worked miracles! It worked so well that I tossed the CHI straightener and I now sware by it. It heats up to 400 degrees, but you don't even need all of that in order to achieve that perfect silky, straight, smooth style we all desire. It's affordable, efficient, and reliable. It turned my afro into silk and best of all (when you use Got2B Heat Appliance Spray in the orange, pyramid shaped bottle [which you can purchase from Walgreens, as well]), your hair stays silky smooth and straight all day. No curled up ends, no frizz, just silky straight, worry-free hair! I recommend to all of my friends!

My hair is extremely curley and thick. I have never been able to find a hair straightener that did anything for me that didn't take any less then 2 to 3 hours ! Until now ! this straightener can have my hair flat as a board in about 20 mins to half an hour and my hair is 24" long ! By far the best thing I have ever used on my head. :)

this hair straightener does heat up fairly fast, but it takes me foreverr to straighten my hair! i have to go over the same spot many times before it will be straight, and it only lasts about an hour!
i think this product worked better at first. i take really good care of my bed head, but it seems like it doesnt heat up as fast anymore!

This straightener is ok, but if you're like me and you want your hair perfectly straight, then don't buy it! it probably will take you 15 minutes if u don't really care how straight it is, but if you do, it'll take u more than 30!Plus it doesn't block out humidity! the second you walk out the door where it's 90% humidity, it'll curl up again!! But the CHI does! I'm gettin 1 !!!!

This straightner is amazing! I have very wavy hair, and it straightens it so fast and easy. TIGI products are the best.

I JUST bought the 2" hair straightener, had it plugged into the wall for about an hour and the plates were still cold. The package wasn't messed up at all, but the product was dirty around the sides of it, and I even started it off with the lower heat like the directions say. I don't recommend this product at all! Its way too expensive and my mom's $25.00 one worked waaaaay better! This product is not worth the hype and glamour.

I bought I $20 flat iron a few months before I bought This bed head product and they basically works the same. It's a very pretty flat iron but it does nothing for me. I'm going to return it. Don't waste ur time or money on this product.

Terrific product. Heats up fast and it's hot!! Love the control settings and straightens hair faster and better than any other straigtner I have used. Well worth the money!

I bought this flat iron a few months ago from target.
It is not thrown around and it's very well taken care of.
It worked good, until a few days ago one of the plates stopped heating up.
Only half of it's working.

i used this and during the middle of the day it would go back to curly and i would have to pull my hair back and it totally sucked and i actucally burnt my head using this srtaightener

I bought this straightener and returned it after using it twice. It's not a bad straightener, it just doesn't do any better than any of the thirty dollar straighteners they sell at Walmart. So if you don't mind low quality you might as well buy a cheaper one, but if you want a really good straightener I wouldn't go with this one.

We bought this product and it never worked - didn't heat up at all. Luckily, we were able to return it right away for a full refund. Not worth the hassle.

my hair is wavy/curly and i though this flat iron would work because of the cost...NOT! i would not reccomend buying this unless you have straight hair that you only need to touch up. it takes a long time too because i really dont think it heats up to 400 degrees...

i know many other straightners you can get for the same cost. I think its just because of the name of the product that its priced so high because honestly after a month of use I decided to return it. didn't heat up fast enough and caused my hair to frizz.

I used this straightener for about 4 months, and it was terrible it didn't even make my hair that straight!
and the price is pretty high considering the horrible quality.
i recommend a chi or a ghd. it costs much more, but it works magnificently.

this is awesome. at first when i got this, it couldnt straighten my hair at 400 degrees! But later on, this product started working on my very coarse thick curly hair, at only its lowest heat setting, 175 degrees. Plus, if i straighten my hair at 275 degrees i only need to pass through my hair once. Plus if i put this straightener on 400 degrees now a days, my hair gets straighter than how it did with the CHI, which is amazing. Plus, no hair pulling and you have the softest hair ever. When I went to college with my hair straightened with this straightener, my friends were hugging me only so they can touch the hair that comes up to my waist! so what im saying is just hang on in there and your straightener will start working. my straightener didnt heat up until 5 min, but like the fourth time i used it, it heated up in like 15 seconds!!! Way better than the chi, you just have to use it a few times until you finally get awesome results out of this straightener.

This one has worked really well for me. The multiple heat settings on it let me set it to just the right temp for my hair so it same out shiny and not fried or frizzy.

I had this straightner for a couple days and it took forever to heat up and I dont think it really heated up to 400 degrees. It straightned ok but defintly wasnt worth the money.

This straightener is CRAP. My daughter is 13 and wasted her own money on this after her friend lost a really good one she had. Bed Head products in general are garbage - crappy ingredients with lots of scent to just make them smell good. This straightener barely ever got hot, and it simply didnt straighten. Pure junk.

I really like this hair straightener. I use it after blow drying my hair to make it really straight and smooth without any frizz. I use the 1 1/4 inch one which works really well when straightening small sections of my hair. It also makes my hair so soft which I love! I would definitely recommend it!!
