I have to say I purchased this iron about 3 months ago, which in the beginning I loved the way it curled my hair and left it shiny....However now, my hair smells like its been burned, and not to mention pieces of my hair burned off! Very disappointed:( Would not purchase again.
Dangerously overheats!

I loved my TIGI curling iron for the first few weeks. But it did take awhile to get used to the heat settings, and I did damage my hair from the higher settings. After just a few months of use, though, the coating started to burn and peel off of the iron. Then, one day it got extremely hot (at my usual lower setting) and charred a section of my hair. It also melted a spot on my countertop, and scorched a handtowel. I've tried it once or twice since, but it still overheats at any setting. I'm tossing this fire hazard and trying another brand.

well i love the results i get w/this product. It leaves my hair w/a horrible "burnt hair" smell.

The curling iron curled well when I originally curled my hair, but about an hour later you couldn't even tell I curled my hair. I had previously been using a Chi and the curls lasted for hours, even if I brushed my hair out the curls would just come right back with the Chi. Very disappointed in this curling iron; I will be returning it.

I loved this iron at first , it smoothed my curly hair very nicely, but after 3 months it stopped working, It does get very hot and one may notice dead ends showing up.
