i began using this because i often wear my hair scrunched/damp, and during the winter; i hate having my head exposed to the extreme cold; especially when its semi-wet.
before you do it, straighten your hair (it doesn't have to be perfect), but it helps with the poofyness and the frizz.
use a product such as a mousse or a scrunch spray along with the waver. i have extremely thick hair, and it gets rid of the frizz and makes the waves look more natural instead of a crimped look.
also, if you like to wear your hair wet and scrunchy: after your hair dries, touch it up with the waver. it gives volume and makes the waves curlier/wavier.
i've tried it on all types of hair, and even people with the thinnest hair it can make it look full and voluminous. i would reccomend this product to anyone who has the time to actually go through with the entire process. (it can be a bit time consuming depending on how thick your hair is) but overall, it's the best $50 i've spent in a very long time. it was the perfect solution to not wearing
