New Formula stinks and leaves hair heavy and limp.

I've used this shampoo for years and loved it. It was the best thing I ever found for my hair...then, some idiot pencil pusher decided they needed to change the formula and absolutely ruined it! I have asthma that is exacerbated by certain smells. This stuff stinks so bad that it triggers an asthma attack when I use it! Go to your local grocery store and buy the cheapest crap you can find and it will, no doubt, be better than the new formula. I will never buy this shampoo again, unless they change the formula back to the way it was.

Better looking package and much worse formulation. Old product cleaned hair and made scalp feel alive. new product does nothing well and appears to have a fraction of the piror formula's ingredients. Why the change? Loved the old product and was a customer of its for many, many years

This new formula of thicker fuller hair stinks. The smell is so bad my throat and lips swelled up.I am super sensitive to some fragrances.I used the original formula and liked it very much and had no problem with the fragrance but this new fragrance is horrible I could'nt get the smell off my hands even after washing dishes. Please go back to the original formula so I can continue to use it.Think of people like me who have allergic reactions and go back to the original formula.

Hi. I see a lot of people have posted about this product. I can't agree enough with the people who are unhappy with the change in formula! I HATE it as well. Why did they have to change the BEST hair thickening shampoo I have ever used in my entire life?? I have been using this product for years. Not to mention, the price! It is so affordable, but now it's not even worth the measly $5! I would rather them change back the product to the original and charge a couple more bucks! Well worth $10 if you ask me! As for those of you who are confused by all of the good ratings, look at the dates. The good reviews were posted months, if not years ago. This product just changed over a couple of months ago. PLEASE CHANGE YOUR PRODUCT BACK. Either that, or make a classic version we can all buy and be happy with (just like the cola company did). PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!!

I LOVED this product with the old formula. Now I just purchased the newer formula and I don't like it! I don't get the great results that I did with the old formula and actually...this stuff kind of stinks! I thought I had a shampoo and conditioner that I would use for life...now I guess I need to move on!

I have been using this shampoo for years. It gave a thick rich lather to my hair. Then earlier this year, the formula got changed. I hate the new one. It does nothing for my hair. I was lucky enough to find some stores that still had the old formula on the shelf. Please change back the formula to the old one! I think a lot of people on here would be happier.
not really

i have EXTREMELY paper thin hair and i have tried many name brand products to thicken it. This shampoo is alright, especially for the cheap price, but it doesn't do half as good a job as Nioxin.
I love this shampoo!

I have very fine, curly hair that has thinned somewhat since menopause. I picked up a bottle of this shampoo at the drugstore a few weeks ago and amazed at how much better my hair looks! It's full and bouncy and seems less dry and damaged. I love this stuff and hope I'm not jinxing it -- usually when I find a product I really like it goes off the market.

Best shampoo I have found. Hair is really light and fluffy, like when I was a kid. Shiny too. The smell is excellent.
greasy hair

All my life, I had an extremely oily and greasy scalp and face. When I get up in the morning, my face and head feels like a greasy salad. I have read on the internet that the biggest problem for hair loss is DHT, a by product of testosterone and it just so happens that this DHT gets in the scalp through the oil glands. I'm not saying that all people with oily hair have a hair loss problem but if you are genetically prepdisposed to DHT and your hair is greasy, you will have hair loss. There is no question to this and science has proved it. So the key for me was to find a shamppo that does a good job getting rid of escess sebum on the scalp and clean deep and make my hair feel fresh and throughly revitalized. Like you guys, I have spent tons of money on salon brands for years and although they did a good job cleaning oily hair. It just took a few hours for my oil glands to start to pump out oil again. One day I was shopping in the supermarket and came across fuller thicker hair. I was attracted to the great price and the large amount you get for your money so I tried it. I can tell you with all hoenestly, this shamppo dissovled my excess sebum better then anything I have used in 20 years. I get that nice clean sqeaky clean feel when I'm done shampooing and the great fragrance adds to the feeling of clean. But the real key about this product is that my hair stays cleaner longer and my hair don't feel like a salad at the end of the day. I am not an herbalist and don't knoe what's in this stuff but it hashelped me for the first time effectviely clean excess oils on my scalp. After about a month, I actually seen some regrowth on the back top of my head and my hair line is coming back xlowly. I know this sounds to good to be true, but I guess I'm getting rid of the DHT in my scalp and getting great results... thanks so much for this product and please don't go out of business!!

I do like this shampoo. I have fine hair, subject to tangling, and this product does give it a much-needed boost in thickness and appearance. And the added bonus seems to be that my hair stays MUCH better looking, even after three days.
they changed the formula

The original bottle (light green with purple band in non-see thru plastic) was the best shampoo for fine hair ever!
Then they not only changed the bottle they changed the formula. How did I know this? The difference in my hair was immediately so noticable that I contacted the company for confirmation.YEP...the idiots took the best volumizing shampoo and re-formulated it into a run of the mill, do-nothing product. Unless your original formula was toxic or
contained some hideous ingredient your trying can't continue to use how about giving your once-loyal customers the original product that delivered spectacular results!

I just bought this shampoo, conditioner and gel. Reading through the reviews there are allot of great reviews that actually sound like they are coming straight from an advertisement and all the rest are terrible and damaging. Mostly i am now just afraid to use it, and concerned that the positive ones are written by the owners of the website pushing product. Does anyone know?
WORKS WONDERS FOR PSORIASIS

I have no idea how this product works for thickening hair, but it cleared up by psoriasis on my scalp in two days. I have tried countless prescription and commercial products for psoriasis and dandruff but I could not find one that cleared up everything. Most of the products that did show some positive results normally smelled bad or left my hair dry and brittle. Thicker Fuller Hair is a wonderful psoriasis shampoo: it smells great; it makes the hair healthy, and most importantly it clears up resistant flaking. I am ever so thankful that it was discovered. If you have psoriasis, I would give this product a try.

So I thought I'd give this shampoo a shot because I have fine hair that lacks volume. I spent over $5.00 on it and I can't beleive the damage it has done to my hair! After using it only a few times my hair was breaking off all over and now I have little short broken pieces of hair sticking up all over my head! I had to do a protien hair treatment and have since stopped using the shampoo. My hair is now softer and more silky and I have better results using suave. I hope that I can get a refund even though the damage to my hair is already done.

I bought this product after reading the great reviews it had received. I bought the entire line. I couldn't wait for it to come in the mail to try it. After shampooing my hair, I was impressed by the great smell of the product. However, my hair did not appear any thicker or fuller after styling. In fact, my hair turned out limp. The product is ok as a moderately priced shampoo, but I won't buy it again. I'll stick to my salon brands.

This smells wonderful. Last thing I need is more volume, but I use the conditioner and the mouse anyway because it makes me smell like a fresh goddess. Not the overpowering city chic smells in most hair products, more like a fresh beautiful "want to breathe it in" smell. Awesome!
