It took about 40 minutes to melt my 16 oz can of hard wax wich was better than i expected and the wax stayed at the right consistancy the entire use.

I used this product to heat hard wax and it worked great. It took about an hour to heat the full container to a workable temperature, which is exactly how long it said it would take when I was looking up product information. I used the Satin Smooth Calendula Gold Hard Wax. It is perfect for my occasional uses. I know that it isn't a professional warmer, but I'm not a professional. I have used it four or five times and haven't had any problems.

I only use this product to re-heat wax or to keep wax warm after it has already been melted. Don't use this to try to take solid wax to liquid... it won;t work.
