Nice, but pricey.

I gave the T3 an Above Average rating, although I haven't tried too many others that's probably not a very accurate assessment. I have fine, curly hair and it tames my unruly curls, adding LOTS of shine. I use the T3 on a daily basis and my hair is undamaged. The iron heats very quickly. On the negative side, I find the T3 to be a little clunky to handle and a tad on the heavy side.
horrible!!!

For the price of the T3 Twirl I had expected impeccable performance. However, I am not really impressed.
1) The iron does not feel solid. The heating barrel is also much heavier than the handle. It doesn't feel balanced in the hand.
2) Heating up is not as fast as my Hot Tools Gold curling iron or my Solia Tourmaline flat iron.
3) I am Asian and my hair is straight with mild waves.
While it curls okay, my hair is still somewhat frizzy on the outside, and not shiny either ("dull" is a good description by another reviewere). It's a great disappointment since I could have created similar curls with any other cheaper curling iron.
I would have rated the performance a 4-star but with the hefty price-tag I'm giving it a 3.
Don't buy it.

In the quest for perfect hair, money is almost no object to me. I was not put off so much by this curling iron's hefty price tag because, based on the reviews and my experience with ceramic and tourmaline tools, I thought it would be worth the money. Besides, I'm usually a firm believer in the saying, "You get what you pay for."
Sadly, that does not apply here. Not only did this curling iron NOT live up to my expectations, I would go so far as to say it is the worst curling iron I have ever used. I have an old, cheapie, Revlon model that produces better and longer lasting results than the T3, and my Hot Tools ceramic by far outperforms the T3.
My hair is thick, but fine in texture, and is about half-way down my back, so yes, it's long and rather heavy. But that should not pose such an enormous challenge to a product so highly-acclaimed as the T3. Seriously, not five mintues after I finished curling my hair, the curls were GONE. I was left with lackluster hair that was somewhat frizzy and dull.
I am packing up my T3 and sending it back today. Obviously, based on the reviews here, this iron is a miracle to some, and I'm happy for them, but for me it was a complete and utter disappointment and a waste of time. I'll stick with my Revlon and Hot Tools irons for now, thank you very much.
Great product, speedy delivery!

I own the T3 Tourmaline hair dryer, and bought this after reading great reviews. Holds a curl, creates great shine--went to my hair stylist and she said my hair's not damaged at all! Great purchase, great company to buy from, great site!
Great for thich hair!

I bought this for myself and I have fine hair, but my daughter has thick hair. I try to create volumn where she tries to tame hers but likes have some style with no frizz. It was perfect for her!!! She absolutely loves it!!! For me it was okay if I didn't put it close to the roots. I think I would do better with hot rollers.
Intimidating @ first but very easy to use.

When I first opened the box I thought to myself its too big and I will not be able to use this on my hair without burning my fingers, but I was totally wrong. It is easy to use and it will give you salon style curls you can do yourself and dont have to pay a stylist $65.00 to do it for you. And it didn't hurt that folica.com has it for $165.00 free shipping, and sephora has it for $200.00 plus tax, and shipping and handling. love my T3 1.25 & folica;>
Nice but expensive

This curling iron is quick to heat up and stays really hot. I have coarse, thick, colored hair and it curled quickly and even without using a heat protecting spray, it left my ends soft, not dry and crispy like my old iron. I would give it 5 stars, but the cost of this iron prevented me from giving it the full five stars. Do try this iron if you have hard to curl hair, but I would recommend using heat protector to hold the curl longer and keep hair as healthy as possible!

I bought this iron in 2 sizes. The irons came at a reasonable time and I love them. I have straight fine hair and these are great.
Worth every penny!

I LOVE this curling iron!! I have done massive amounts of research over the past couple of months on the best curling irons. I have really thick, coarse, Italian hair and none of the drugstore varieties were ever strong enough to hold a curl longer than 20 minutes, or quick enough (not even crazy amounts of hairspray can hold). I bought this with a lot of hesitation, just because it was so expensive, but I promise you it's worth it. It curled my hair SUPER fast and the curls stayed ALL night, and until I washed it again 2 days later! Not only did it curl really quickly and effectively, but my hair was incredibly soft and shiny. If you have difficult hair and want to see amazing results, bite the bullet, open your wallet and get this!
