I have short fine hair, I purchased the T3 thinking it would be great for all day spiral curls that would not be to damaging for my hair, however the curling iron would curl my hair but the curl would then just go limp and straight. I can see how it would not damage the hair, but if it does not even curl it, whats the point, and I gave it every chance and tried it every way, but it's not worth the money, so I returned it, my cheap old curling iron works great compared to this one, I was very disappointed.....
worked wonderfully

I've used this curler almost every day for over a year, and my hair has not been damaged at all. (Just for reference, I have medium-length asian hair.) It heats up fairly quickly, created my curls just how I wanted...I have no complaints whatsoever. Highly recommend this product! :)

I have thick crimpy/curly hair and wth most curling irons my har will curl orginally then 5 min later it will just go back to normal or go straight. With the t3 it definately doesnt have that problem, it lasts until I wash it pretty much. As to the problem of it gripping the hair that some people mentioned, I didn't have that problem at all, so I have no clue what they're talking about. I purchased the 1", my only suggestion would be if u want more natural curls, go for the .75", i'm getting that next.

This is the best curling iron I've ever used. I have really silky asian hair and it's really hard to get the curls to stay. But with this curling iron, I can do my hair at night and the curls will still be there the next morning. It heats up fast and saves time. It only takes me about 30 minutes as opposed to the 60 before. I find it really easy to use and it doesn't pull on your hair like some cheaper brands. I would definitely recommend this.

I love the fact that it is heated on both sides. Wonderful product. I have the 1.5" rod and it is great for those big girls and waves at the end of your hair. Worth the investment!
Everyone should have one of these!!!

Happy I bought it

My hair is coarse wavy and a bit on the dry side. I've used CHI (which was nice) and Hot Tools ceramic tormaline (not impressed as the finish wore off on both sides of the barrel which began to snag my hair and break it).
I purchased the T3 Twirl because of the Tourmaline-infused ceramic barrel. I thought the infused barrel would hold up much better than the coated CHI and Hot Tools. I LOVE this iron. It has actually improved the condition and texture of my hair. My hair is so much shinier and softer. My strands of hair feel & look smooth where they used to be brittle, dull and rough texture. This iron is unbelievable. In my opinion, this iron is worth every penny and more. I HIGHLY recommend this iron for those of you ladies that have dull, coarse, rough hair. I am so impressed with it.

This is an awesome curling iron that does not seem to damage your hair! I was skeptical about buying it because its rating was not that great, but could not be happier with it! I had problems before with the Hot Tools gold curling irons I used because they would grab on to and break my hair. This one does not do this, but stil has a very secure grip on my hair for curling. I love it!
Worth the money!

ABOUT THE BAD REVIEWS: This iron is not supposed to "grab" or hold your hair. Your hair is supposed to slide through the clamp. If you are trying to get the clamp to hold your hair, you are using this iron the wrong way! Have a professional show you how to properly use it and you will love it!
I use this iron on freshly washed, air dried, frizzy dry hair. It's amazing. I can curl all of my hair in 5 minutes. My hair is very long, down to the middle of my back. I use absolutely NO product or hairspray and the curls stay! My hair is shiny and undamaged. Your hair stays healthy because your hair only needs to stay in contact for a couple seconds to achieve gorgeous curls, which minimizes damage. This iron is definitely worth the price!

Great curling iron. It took me about 2 days to figure out tricks to use it. Its tighter at the tip so will hold smaller pieces of hair you want to curl tight at that spot. Also, you can curl LOTS of hair in it at once and cut your hairstyling time in half. It makes my hair super shiney with bouncy curls. They will last a long time if you let them completely cool before running your fingers through them. Worth the money. Ill buy another if this ever breaks.

I definitely love this curling iron!!! Yes, it is pricy but then again you get what you pay for. It does curl my hair very fast and the curls stay on all day! At the same time, my hair stays incredibly soft and shiny. If you want to see amazing results, give it a try. You won't be disappointed. I know I am not.

Guys, this iron is made for proffessional use. It is the best one I ever tryed, but I am a hairstylist! You have to know how to use marcel iron if you want to get great results.I can't stop curling my clients hair. They just love it and it takes 3 times faster than any other I used before. It also much better for your hair. If you already own one just take it to your stylist and ask him/her to teach you how to use this iron. Otherwise you won't get great benefits of this amazing product!!!!!!!!!!!
Piece of crap

It's a piece of crap. It doesn't hold your hair at all!!! My hair is super easy to curl and this thing didn't do it unless I put it on the highest setting and then it kept slipping out of the clamp. Also the stupid thing twirls around when you trying to curl so not only does your hair slip but you can't even be super careful and try to just hold it stationary and wrap your hair around it!!! It does make your hair soft but as I said, it's a piece of crap.
A substantial curling iron

I have fine hair and have never had any luck with curling irons. To get a decent curl the stylist would have to do it for me and spray every piece so it was cardboard just to stay in place. With this iron, I don't use hairspray at all, the curls are smooth and silky, they stay all day even in rainy weather. There is no damage to my hair at all. The curls are spring and bouncy in my waist lenght hair! The best invention ever! PS the spring thing that some other people have complained about is because they don't know how to curl hair. If you watch a sylist the start near the root and curl then they inch down the hair and curl and keep inching down while still have hair curled around the barrel till they get to the end. This keeps the hair smooth all the way down to the tip. You don't start from the tip up.

I, too, was on the quest for perfect hair. At first, I didn't really think that such thing existed...unless you made millions of dollars and had stylists that came running at the snap of your fingers. Well, that all changed a few months ago. I purchased my first T3 Evolution dryer. I LOVED IT!!!!
I have thick, shoulder-length, naturally VERY CURLY brownish-blonde hair. After blow drying my hair, I would always go back with a large curling iron and fix those "loose ends." Living in the hot, humid south-east, it never failed...no matter how I curled my hair, it would always do the opposite after walking from my car to my office. ALWAYS!
Not any more...thanks to the T3 Twirl! The hair remains in the direction that the hair is curled...even over night!!! Imagine my amazement.
I did notice the iron does not grip hair the way my other irons have. However, a stylist told me once that you do not want the iron to clamp down on your hair as hard as they usually do...it ends up leaving your strand flat when it clamps down that hard, which negates the purpose of curling. With this iron, I can place my hair inside the clamp, and just kind of continuously roll the curling iron...and out pops a beautiful curl that lasts all day (and without any hair spray!)
It is kinda pricey...but considering the amount of time I've gained each morning, and considering all of the compliments I have received on my hair...it's worth it to me.
Take the plunge! You get what you pay for!!
Doesn't grab hair-it slides right out

It makes your hair really soft because of the tourmaline but there was one big problem... it wouldn't grab ahold of my hair. My hair would slide right out of it, so it took alot of work to make a curl. I had to return it right away.
not worth it

By the time you get to your third curl; the first one is already pin straight. The clasp does not firmly hold the hair; i found mine to keep sliding out. Not worth the money

I bought the .75" and the 1". I don't know if I'm doing it wrong, but the clasp will not grab my hair. It's more frustrating than anything else to try to curl my hair. I get better results from the cheap curling irons you buy at any regular store.
