I have puffy, frizzy, somewhat damaged fine hair and by using the T3 on blow dried hair I get stick straight frizz free results even in high humidity by following these steps:
1. Wash and condition hair with Matrix Biolage Fortherapy shampoo and conditioner. (this helps repair split ends and strengthen weak, overworked hair without weighing it down.)
2. Put in a small amount of Redken antisnap leave in treatment into towel dried hair.
3. Add a nickel sized amount of AG Set it Straight straightning balm and blow dry hair straight using fingers to pull hair straight to prevent breakage from a brush or comb.
4. Apply a dime size amount of Matrix Sleek Look sealing serum just to the ends to prevent hair from getting oily quickly.
5. Separate your hair into three sections at the sides and four at the back and run the T3 through each section begining at the bottem layer and working your way up to the top.
6. Do not add anything into your hair after it is straight as this will only make it get oily and dirty quickly. Hair should stay straight without adding extra products.
Tips: Use a deep conditioning treatment twice a week such as Redken All soft heavy cream or Redken Smooth down butter treat to keep hair shiny and healthy.

This iron is meant to be used on DAMP hair not soaking wet. When you are using it be sure to take smaller sections(think 4 plus sections on either side and 8 in the back) and go slowly over each section. Running the iron 10 times quickly over the same section is going to take you more time than going once over slowly. Be patient and enjoy the results!

if u have flat hair, the best thing with the T3 is that u can just completly towel dry ur hair, start from front leaving an inch away from the root and straigten. once all hair is done, use a curling iron just on the root to lift it up. flip head down to get great volume!! thats it, great staight hair with volume!
