I paid $140 for the Wet-or-Dry flat iron. I was so disappointed with it that I returned it the day I bought it. I tried it on wet hair, it didn't do anything. I tried it on my damp hair, and I saw some straightening effect. The problem is, your hair is still left wet. So then I had to blow dry my hair and try to re-straighten it. I strongly think a traditional ceramic flat iron does the job much better.

Product Rating: 5 Follow Directions People!!!!!
Reviewer: Jaime   Thu Jan 26 2006

I am a stylist, but if I weren't and read the directions on this AMAZING product it would be well worth the $200. Two runs over a 3 inch wide section (so it doesnt get caught!) is all it takes on my towel dried ONLY clients. I am saving 20 min to 1/2 hr on each client I straighten, and sparing my arms and shoulders. It IS wet to dry if you section the hair and go over each section 2X. My own curly hair normally takes 30-40 min, but only 10 with the T3!

I was hesitant to buy a product like this online, and was amazingly happy with the on-time delivery and the product is super. My daughter loves it!

The T3 arrived on time as promised. My daughter says it is the best flat iron she has ever used and loves it. Her hair has kept its shape for as long as two days.

Product Rating: 2 CAUSES HAIR SHAFT TO SPLIT
Reviewer: Eve from Yakima, Washington  Sun Jan 08 2006

If I could return this flat iron I would. Purchased it two months ago, as recommended by my stylist. Has great straightening capablilty but my hair gets caught and breaks in the end pieces holding the ironing blades. They should be molded into one piece. Spent too much money for this, to have this happen.

Product Rating: 3 It's ok...
Reviewer: Jessica from NJ  Wed Jan 04 2006

I loved it when my stylist used it...and it seemed to work for him when my hair was damp. For me, I had to keep going over the same spot. It straightens really nice, but I don't think it works on damp hair like it claims. It's not worth the money...maybe I'll try the Sedu.

Reviewer: Krissy   Tue Dec 20 2005

yea the t3 was amazing at first i loved it to death and when my hair stylist used it on me it made my hair feel smooth and it made it shine. But when i used it it kept coming out bad, it was because you need to use other hair products with this straightener in order for it to work good, and it keeps geting less and less hot everytime you use it, also the plates paint started to go away( like chip off) its bad.DONT get this product, my friend has very puffy curly hair and the SOLIA works wonders on it im waiting for mine now, when i used the SOLIA it made my hair last for hours in the heat and it made my hair shine its a good product, if you want a straightener, adn your hair is frizzy puffy adn curly, the solia is for you.

Product Rating: 4 great iron
Reviewer: LaPage from Denton Tx  Sat Dec 17 2005

This product works wonderful ! I am a stylist and by far this product works better than all the other brands I have used . You must use on damp to dry hair , small sections and the results are amazing . I have sold many of them and when used properly and client instructed on how to use product all results are great . I will say it does catch the hair in the plates if section is to wide . That would be the only negitive to this iron .

Product Rating: 2 Not worth the money.
Reviewer: AP from raleigh, nc  Sat Dec 17 2005

This iron is definitely not worth the price. My biggest concern is that my hair gets caught in the plates and I end up having to pull it out. This shouldn't be a problem with an iron that costs so much! The wet-to-dry isn't really worth it because its almost easier just to blowdry and then straighten my hair (you have to go REALLY slow if you want to dry and straighten with just the iron). It straightens well, but nothing spectacular. You'd be better off buying something else.

Product Rating: 4 better than my wigo
Reviewer: Marisa   Fri Dec 16 2005

I might only love this iron so much because I am used to a Wigo, but I think it's great, if only by comparison. If you want to use it on wet hair, make sure to blow dry the roots first real quick. I assume that all wet-to-dry straighteners take a while, but you have to go very slowly to get your hair dry without having to pass over each strand twice. For use on dry hair it's awesome. For me to staighten my medium-long wavy hair (think Joss Stone with shorter hair) it takes 30 minutes. For my friend who takes cosmotology classes to straighten it for me, it took 20. I guess it's worth the extra cost between the wet-to-dry and the regular, especially if you only straighten your hair wet once in a while.

Product Rating: 2 the most horrible purchase
Reviewer: Karina   Thu Dec 15 2005

I paid $200 for this flat iron thinking it was a godsend. It was said to "put all the moisture back in your hair and save you tons of time!" All false. They failed to mention that it's not really "wet-to-dry" (I spent 2 hrs trying to flat iron it from wet to dry), it snags on your hair, it causes quite the damage on hair, and it still takes me 45 min- 1hr to straighten my dry hair, mind you I have WAVY hair, not curly. Please do NOT waste your money on this product even if it is discounted right now. I'm about to buy the sedu iron, which has much better reviews than this piece of *&%^!

Product Rating: 3 Not so impressed
Reviewer: liz from los angeles, ca  Sun Dec 11 2005

I bought this flat iron hoping that it would work better than the chi and rusk, but I am not too impress. My hair gets stuk on the plates and I find myself pulling my hair trying to get it out of the plates. I think this flat iron is too expensive for what it does.

Product Rating: 1 Wast!
Reviewer: andrea   Mon Dec 05 2005

I payed $200 for this flat iron and all it does is pull on your hair, What A wast!By the way it does not even dry your hair.

Product Rating: 2 Not overly impressed
Reviewer: Jill from Bethesda, MD-  Wed Nov 30 2005

For almost $200, I went out and bought this item, and I ended up returning it after about two weeks. Because of the way that it is structured, you cannot get as close to the root as you might want to, leaving the top of your head wet. It is also not strong enough to completely take care of your hair on the first run through it. Plus, it is hard to get past the sizzling sound!

Product Rating: 5 BETTER THAN ANYTHING...really!
Reviewer: Jihan from dubai, UAE  Tue Nov 29 2005

i have hair that is vunerable! and trustme, with normal irons ur hair has to b 100% dry which is dangerous if it isnt.! with T3 its so superb, it dries instantly and hair is jet straight!! never seen something so amazing, im serious everyone should get one!! today!!

Product Rating: 3 Ok
Reviewer: Genevieve   Mon Nov 28 2005

When I got this product I was so excitied.I have thick curly hair. But I tried it on my hair, and it didn't work! After a while i learned how to use it correctly, but it takes(for me) over an hour. It's also very heavy and it takes alot of work to clamp it down. I get burned alot. The wet-to-dry thing dosn't work either. Afterwards my hair is stright, but i don't think it's worth the effort. It only lasts a bit. Buy something else!

I purchased a wet to dry flat iron at walmart that works better than this $200 flat iron. Don't waste your money!

Product Rating: 3 Not so sure about this flat iron
Reviewer: Jamie   Fri Oct 28 2005

I bought this iron based on other reviews, but my hair gets stuck in it and gets pulled out with every use. Also I tried it with my hair wet and it didn't dry or flatten my hair completely. The shape and design feels a little awkward in my hand. Was hoping to love it, but my experience so far is less than I had hoped for. :-(
