The T3 arrived on time as promised. My daughter says it is the best flat iron she has ever used and loves it. Her hair has kept its shape for as long as two days.
CAUSES HAIR SHAFT TO SPLIT

If I could return this flat iron I would. Purchased it two months ago, as recommended by my stylist. Has great straightening capablilty but my hair gets caught and breaks in the end pieces holding the ironing blades. They should be molded into one piece. Spent too much money for this, to have this happen.
It's ok...

I loved it when my stylist used it...and it seemed to work for him when my hair was damp. For me, I had to keep going over the same spot. It straightens really nice, but I don't think it works on damp hair like it claims. It's not worth the money...maybe I'll try the Sedu.

yea the t3 was amazing at first i loved it to death and when my hair stylist used it on me it made my hair feel smooth and it made it shine. But when i used it it kept coming out bad, it was because you need to use other hair products with this straightener in order for it to work good, and it keeps geting less and less hot everytime you use it, also the plates paint started to go away( like chip off) its bad.DONT get this product, my friend has very puffy curly hair and the SOLIA works wonders on it im waiting for mine now, when i used the SOLIA it made my hair last for hours in the heat and it made my hair shine its a good product, if you want a straightener, adn your hair is frizzy puffy adn curly, the solia is for you.

This product works wonderful ! I am a stylist and by far this product works better than all the other brands I have used . You must use on damp to dry hair , small sections and the results are amazing . I have sold many of them and when used properly and client instructed on how to use product all results are great . I will say it does catch the hair in the plates if section is to wide . That would be the only negitive to this iron .
Not worth the money.

This iron is definitely not worth the price. My biggest concern is that my hair gets caught in the plates and I end up having to pull it out. This shouldn't be a problem with an iron that costs so much! The wet-to-dry isn't really worth it because its almost easier just to blowdry and then straighten my hair (you have to go REALLY slow if you want to dry and straighten with just the iron). It straightens well, but nothing spectacular. You'd be better off buying something else.
better than my wigo

I might only love this iron so much because I am used to a Wigo, but I think it's great, if only by comparison. If you want to use it on wet hair, make sure to blow dry the roots first real quick. I assume that all wet-to-dry straighteners take a while, but you have to go very slowly to get your hair dry without having to pass over each strand twice. For use on dry hair it's awesome. For me to staighten my medium-long wavy hair (think Joss Stone with shorter hair) it takes 30 minutes. For my friend who takes cosmotology classes to straighten it for me, it took 20. I guess it's worth the extra cost between the wet-to-dry and the regular, especially if you only straighten your hair wet once in a while.
the most horrible purchase

I paid $200 for this flat iron thinking it was a godsend. It was said to "put all the moisture back in your hair and save you tons of time!" All false. They failed to mention that it's not really "wet-to-dry" (I spent 2 hrs trying to flat iron it from wet to dry), it snags on your hair, it causes quite the damage on hair, and it still takes me 45 min- 1hr to straighten my dry hair, mind you I have WAVY hair, not curly. Please do NOT waste your money on this product even if it is discounted right now. I'm about to buy the sedu iron, which has much better reviews than this piece of *&%^!

I bought this flat iron hoping that it would work better than the chi and rusk, but I am not too impress. My hair gets stuk on the plates and I find myself pulling my hair trying to get it out of the plates. I think this flat iron is too expensive for what it does.
Wast!

For almost $200, I went out and bought this item, and I ended up returning it after about two weeks. Because of the way that it is structured, you cannot get as close to the root as you might want to, leaving the top of your head wet. It is also not strong enough to completely take care of your hair on the first run through it. Plus, it is hard to get past the sizzling sound!
BETTER THAN ANYTHING...really!

When I got this product I was so excitied.I have thick curly hair. But I tried it on my hair, and it didn't work! After a while i learned how to use it correctly, but it takes(for me) over an hour. It's also very heavy and it takes alot of work to clamp it down. I get burned alot. The wet-to-dry thing dosn't work either. Afterwards my hair is stright, but i don't think it's worth the effort. It only lasts a bit. Buy something else!
I love it!!!! it saves sooo much time

I bought this iron based on other reviews, but my hair gets stuck in it and gets pulled out with every use. Also I tried it with my hair wet and it didn't dry or flatten my hair completely. The shape and design feels a little awkward in my hand. Was hoping to love it, but my experience so far is less than I had hoped for. :-(
No "wow" here folks

I bought this product after reading many different reviews on many different sites. Although it does a descent job of straightening my thick wavy hair, it's not the greatest flat iron. You do have to dry your hair a little in order to get the iron working especially the roots. You have to run the iron many times on a section to get it completely dry and straightened. And my hair keeps getting snagged by the plates. I'm sure there are smoother plated irons out there. I'm half tempted to return this one and try Sedu since a lot of people are raving about it. But I don't feel like going through all the hassles. And this is the only flat iron that I know of that works with semi-wet hair. ** By the way, why don't I get any manuals with items purchased from folica.com? It's so frustrating and strange.
Loved this at first...

My hair dresser recommended this iron to me, and when I first used it I loved it. I told everyone I knew that this was the best iron in existence. I have now had the iron for 4 months and have used it about 10-12 times (I don't use it daily). Like another reviewer, I noticed that it has started to take longer and longer to get the same result. I can't understand how this iron fizzles out after such a short time. It first straightened my hair so quickly, now I need to run the iron over each section 3-4 times before it's straight. Also, my husband commented that he sees a lot of broken hairs on my head lately (he's a dermatologist, so he notices these things). So, I would say that it is not in any way "healthy" or "safe" to use on even damp hair, much less wet hair.
Great iron..not so great for wet hair

I am giving this iron 3 stars because it does a great job straightening, but not if I was to rate it for the "wet to dry" job it does I'd probably give it 1.5 stars. I have thick wavy hair and could never use this to dry my hair. It would take hours. I would need to run over every section of hair probably 3-4 times. I found it worked best when I dried my hair with the dryer and then straightened it as I would with my old iron. My hair looks and feels great. I think I will return it for a traditional straightener, maybe the sedu. I think the "wet to dry" would work for people with thin hair.
Great Product

Bought it last night and used it on towel dried hair.
At first the sizzling sounds scared me but when I saw the result it felt and looked so healthy I loved it!
It does however work best if your hair is more dry than just towel dried like the styler in the first review said.
The first time I glid it through my hair did not dry it 90% but maybe I took too much hair or the texture of my hair is different. I have very fine, very thick hair.
In any case, this is a great product. Thanks T3
