This is a great blow dryer! It is light weight, and quickly dries my hair. Best of all, It leaves my hair very silky. My hair is naturally wavy, so it never took too long to dry, but with the t3, the drying time is even shorter. The main reason I got the dryer was because all the reviewers said their hair felt softer and healthier after using the t3. I firmly agree with them, and I plan on taking good care of my t3. Yes, it is expensive, but I think it's worth it for anyone who blow dries there hair on a regular basis.
Why did i wait so long??

This blow dryer is the best i have ever used. I have thick curly hair which i relax and using this blow dryer left my hair shiny and very healthy looking. It is a bit pricy but so worth the money. I don't even have to use my CHI flat iron after i finish blow drying!! So in the end i don't spend so much time doing my hair.

Only one complaint

My only complaint is that the blow power is pretty weak. I understand that a dryer shouldn't blow too hard however I have very fine hair and I did not notice the drying time being cut in half as some users have claimed. Since trying T3, I have returned it and am trying the X5. So far, I like the X5 better than the T3.
Worth the Money!!

this is the best blow dryer. It dries your hair quicker and leaves your hair shinier. I have curly hair and this is great when I want to blow dry it straight or diffuse it dry to leave it curly. Great purchse. My Mom used it once, fell in love with it and is now purchasing one. The other great thing is that this featherweight is so light that if u have long hair like me, you don't get tired.
Why didn't I spend $200 sooner?

I am finally able to get a salon blow dry at home! I have thick, coarse, wavy, and dry hair that I color and this dryer is unbelievably fast at drying, light, and super effective! The dryer itself is beautifully simple. I love the crystal details on the handle, too. I can't say enough awesome things about it. I had been on the fence about this blow dryer for a while and I finally splurged. I just wonder why I didn't invest in this dryer sooner!

I purchased this dryer a year ago. It works really well and dried my hair fast until yesterday. When I turned it on I saw sparks fly and now it blows cold air. It should have lastest longer than a year. Not good for a 200.00 investment.
Fan broke off

I bought this dryer and had it for 4 months. I liked it because it dried my hair really fast and it was lightweight. One day I turned it on and the dryer started making a funny noise. I noticed smoke rising from the dryer and it turned out the fan broke off inside! There is no way to open the dryer itself to fix it - the casing is too tight. After reading the reviews here this seems to be a common problem!

Let me begin by saying that my hair is thick and naturally wavey. This product dries in half the timeof a normal dryer. It also dries my hair smoothier. WOW spectacular! I love it.
T3 is sparking

I wrote a great review about this product a little over a year ago. Well - today it starting sparking on the inside - bright blue sparks. Fortunately I saw this before it started a fire. I have been taking good care of it and cleaning the filter -etc, but this is a fire hazard. I noticed that another poster had the same problem Please be careful if you have this. Toaster and blowdryers are a major cause of home fires.

It cost so much!! I could barely bring myself to buy it but i read the reviews and took the plunge.
It is not a miracle worker but i believe it's probably the best hairdryer you can buy.
It does get a bit HOT but i give a shot on the "cool" button and keep on goin'.
My hair is Baby FINE, like cotton candy and STRAIGHT as a stick. I need all the help i can get.
Be sure to also use a
HEAT PROTECTION spray on your hair
and a good
ROOT EXTENTION product.
You'll be happy with the results.
i have been using this hairdryer for 6 months with no problems.

Only because the hair dryer still appears cheap aesthetically speaking (meaning the actual unit itself appears cheap) even though it's not. it does do a great job of drying my hair quickly w/out blasting my head with hot air and making me sweat like a pig just after a shower. this is the reason i got this dryer, that and the de-frizzing quality which was readily apparent the first time i used it. i have thin fine hair with a strong wave in it and it frizzes because i blow my hair straight. this eliminated the frizz and dried my hair in probably 40% of the time it usually takes. i wish it had more settings as far as heat and speed, but it's basically a Hi or Lo that you have to choose from. I haven't had it that long so time will tell if was actually worth the high price tag. I honestly think this dryer could sell for less and this company would make a killing if they dropped the price. BTW, my hair dryer that arrived was white plastic, not silver, if that matters to you. And it had little gemstones down the handle which i found charming but also odd. I don't need that on a hairdryer and if i'm paying extra for it, leave it off.

My T3 dryer was a gift... bought from Folica and it's not even a year old and just quit working. T3 has been very hard to deal with and do not want to fix it.

Ok. So I've had my t3 for about 2 yrs now. Maybe a little longer. Not sure about the ladies that had theirs break on them.. mine has given me NO problems what so ever! It's just a luck of the draw I suppose? Anyway, I too have thick hair with coarse texture, and the first time I met this little silver beauty was when I went to get my hair done at the salon and I noticed that my hair was soft, shiny, and smooth as she was drying my hair. I asked her what product she used and she said NOTHING. So I asked her, why is my hair so shiny.... her response was oh that's the dryer girl. I was LIKE WHAT? What kind of hair dryer does that? Needless to say, I was online that very same night looking to make my purchase! I have not been without my dryer ever since.
I ABSOLUTELTY LOVE IT! I even sold my BF's mom on the dryer. She has really thick and curly hair too. And she LOVES it just as much as I do! I actually bought a sedu flat iron from folica before the dryer.. I should have gotten the dryer first. 'Cause after my dryer, I don't need to use my sedu, as I don't really need it.
I did however find that if you pair the dryer with a really good shampoo and conditioner, the results are that much better! For those of you with thick, dry, coarse, or curly hair, try using Alterna Caviar line. It is an AWESOME combo for our hard to tame dry hair!! =)
T3 - Quality Control Issue!

Fan fell off after using for 1 month (2x's a week)! One would think for selling a product at such an expensive price they would have a much better quality control process... I've had a much more in-expensive store bought hairdryer for over 10 years. Ridiculous.

Great Dryer for Some- Just not for my thin hair

So I bought the T3 Featherweight after having read all the stellar and not so stellar reviews. My conclusion: it's basically a great hair dryer. Just not perfect for my hair. In other words, if I had thick, coarse and/or nappy textured hair I'm sure I'd be in hairdryer heaven. But I dont. I have relatively thin (some would say medium) thickness black slightly wavy shoulder length hair, to which I'm always trying to give more body to. With this goal of greater body in mind, the T3 fell short in my eyes. The reason? By the end of the day my newly blowdryed hair fell flat even though I used volumizing curlers and spray when I blowdryed my hair. I think it's the anti-frizz effect of the blowdryer that was the cause of it. Also, in addition to my hair feeling flat, it did have a slightly greasy quality- probably because of the excess moisture that is infused into the hair with the tourmaline ceramic ionic technology. It did leave my hair lustrous and shiny and soft (which is fabulous) but I was not happy with the thinning effect it left on my hair. Other blowdryers (less fancy ones than this) seem to give my hair greater body- so I will continue to shop for my ideal blow dryer. But I must say- I loved how light it felt in my hand, how it didn't have a deafening sound (which is great) and how soft, lustrous and shiny it left my hair. And it did shorten drying time by about a good 10 minutes, which is significant in my book. And I wasn't bothered at all by the switches.
Cutting Corners

Read several articles that this was the best of the best and all the rage. So I decided to spend more $$ for a blow dryer only to find that I love the fact the dryer is light weight but hate the fact they cut corners on the cord and did not use a tangle free cord. Really for for the price, you would think they would use a tangle free cord.
Cuts down on drying time plus more!

Me and my 2 daughters have long, thick, overly curly hair (African mixed with Asian). My old cheap drugstore blow dryer would leave our hair frizzy and straw-like, and on my daughter's mid-back length natural hair, drying and smoothing would take several hours! After reading the reviews on several models, I chose the T3. Drying time on my daughter's hair now takes 45 minutes--and that includes both drying and smoothing. The T3 dries and straightens our hair so well that we don't even need to use the flat iron afterwards. Instead of dull, lifeless fried frizzles, we now have silky soft, shiny and lustrous hair from root to ends. After parting off sections and applying a dab of Rusk Str8 balm, I use the low setting for drying and smoothing, using a large round ceramic vent brush. I love my T3!

I purchased this product only two months ago and the fan just broke off . The product is exceptionally poor in quality, although I did like the way it dries my hair. I have had a $40, and an $8 dryer for over 7 years with no problem I will be returning this product and not repurchasing.
