It definitely is quiet and lightweight. The appearance (materials used) doesn't reflect the price, but maybe they chose a standard grey plastic because of its weight. It dries my hair faster than conventional dryers, but not half as fast- maybe 30% faster. My main complaint is that there's no "warm" setting. After about 3 minutes, it gets uncomfortably hot. All in all- it's a decent dryer, but not at all worth the high price.
It is OK, But do not expect miracles!!!

It is ok, but if you are like me with a lot, very coarse and curly hair keep whatever routine you had before; I still have to use my steam Iron to make hair look "ok" so it is fine but do not expect a miracle

This hair dryer works very well. It seems to dry hair faster even though the heat settings are not that hot and the fan is not that powerful. The high setting quickly removes most of the water from my hair. The low setting works very well with the concentrator to set in curls and waves. What I especially like about this dryer is the shot of cool air. On other dryers I found the shot of cool air was not that cool, more like lukewarm. On this dryer you can feel the coolness and it really sets the curl.

I bought it after having Bio-Ionic process done to straighten my hair. The blowdryer is so light and dries so quickly, I love it.

This thing is awesome. I have extremely thick, long hair and blowdrying it is a chore...until now. Drying time is down from 25+ minutes to just 15, and with better results. It's shinier, straighter and softer-- even in those hard to reach places at the back of your head. I am amazed, so much so that I am writing this product review-- a first for me.

I recently purchased the T3 Tourmaline Hair Dryer and I was only midly impressed. While it did dry my hair mini-seconds faster than my old VS one, I wasn't completed wow-ed by the results. At first, I thought it was just me who wasn't impressed by the hairdryer since my hair is naturally straight, but even after my sister used the dryer, she too agreed that the T3 was only okay. My sister has really thick, waivy/frizzy hair so she knows the importance of a good and fast hairdryer.
Hopefully, other people will like this product better than I did...but for $150...I could have splurged on a lot of other hair goodies!!

This is the best hair dryer. My hair is thick and while the unit is very powerful and works quickly, it is very gentle on my blond hair. I think I will buy a second unit for the gym. And, perhaps a third one for camp!

I don't know if this dryer actually dries your hair 60% faster than any other dryer, but it does do a good job without drying out my hair. I have noticed a nicer hair texture.

I read the reviews for this hairdryer and it was recommended by Good Housekeeping Magazine as well as it had been tested, so I was hoping for something great. I am in my 40's with curly hair that gets frizzy in humidity. As it has gotten gray and I have had to color it, the texture has changed and not in a good way. I had to buy a straightening iron that I now use after I blow dry with my cheaper hair dryer. I would gladly pay a small fortune for something that works like some of the reviews stated. Unfortunately, I did not find that to be the case. The drying time was the same for me as with other dryers. I think that's because I have to style with a brush and I don't see how you can cut that much drying time when you still have to use a brush to style. I used it for a week with different products. It really did not do any better than the cheap Conair hair dryer I have and I still had to use the straightening iron every time. Since it did not reduce my drying time and I still had to use the straightening iron, I returned it because it was not worth the price. I paid $149.95 with free shipping but I really wouldn't pay more than $50 for it. I think it probably works best for people who already have nice, straight, healthy hair. And if you have all that, any hair dryer is probably sufficient.

I purchased this and the Sedu straightener last week for my 14 yo daughter from Folica. I was reluctant because of the price, but decided to take a chance based on the reviews. I am thrilled with the dryer. My daughter has long, fine but extremely thick hair that really holds onto water. It normally takes 45 minutes or more and drying in sections to get it completely dry. Even then it gets a wave in the back and thus the need for the straightener. Now I can dry her her in less than 25 minutes, not have to section it to get it dry and the wave is not there. The dryer is so quiet and I noticed the brush doesnt get tangled in the hair like with a cheap dryer. After drying her hair looks great but a quick run through with the Sedu makes it look and feel like pure silk. You will not be sorry with this dryer and I think it was well worth the price.

I ordered this blow dryer. After recieving it and tring it I was not impressed. I have thick hair and it just didn't do the job. It wasn't fast enough or powerful enough. I sent it back.

I have used this for three weeks now and am more pleased than I ever thought possible. I have long thick hair that is not straight and not curly. Just enough wave to go frizzy when I blow dry my hair. The T3 has reduced my drying time down to 7 minutes...AMAZING! The frizz, even on humid days has also been tamed. I couldn't believe that I spent that much money and now feel that it was one of the best pourchases I have made in years.

This blow dryer did make my hair soft but it definately lacks the power to get my wavy hair straight.
It just lacks the umph. I had a solano before this as well as a turbo power and you can't even compair.
Even my husband said to me "what's with your hair?"
I returned it after a week. For $200 I want a blow dryer I love.
Maybe it is good for someone with smooth hair, b/c it does dry hair fast. This one was also horrible on dry hair.

I just received my T3 about two weeks ago and have used it twice. I have noticed a dramatic change in how may hair holds curls, the sheen and how fast the drying time was!
I have thick, curly, dry hair and have always been afriad to apply heat to it because it would break off. With the T3, I feel more confident that I can heat style my hair without the dryness and damage.
When I used a round, boar brush, I didn't even need to use my Sedu flat iron. It is a great product as long as you use the right brush and remember not to overdry your hair. This dryer is so professional, you only need a few timed strokes to get your hair dry and beautiful.
Best hairdryer I have ever owned!

I have wavy hair that tends to frizz if it isn't thoroughly dried, and I've never been able to get it as straight as I wanted -- until now. I can't believe how silky my hair is after using this dryer. Even my hair stylist noticed that I seemed to be managing my hair better. As another reviewer noted, sometimes you can turn it off accidentally because the button is right in the middle of the handle, but you can avoid that by holding the dryer higher up the handle. I never thought I'd be able to control my hair the way I can with this dryer, I just love it.

I GOT THIS BLOW DRYER FOR A GIFT IT HAS BECOME THE BEST GIFT I HAVE EVER GOTTIN IT CUT MY TIME IN HALF IT USED TO TAKE ME AN HR AND A HALF TO BLOW MY HAIR OUT NOW IT TAKES ME AN HALF HR NOT ONLY THAT BUT ITS SO LIGHT TO HOLD THAT IT DONT BOTHER ME WHEN IM BLOWING MY HAIR IT GETS HOT BUT NOT TO HOT I LOVE THIS BLOWER AND WOULD NEVER GIVE IT UP FOR ANYOTHER

I would recommend this blower to everyone. I have fine hair and it useally does not hold body for half a day. My hair stayed full all day.It is also a great buy.

I've saved so much time on my hair using the T3 that it's more than paid for itself. It's added at least 15 minutes to my life each day, and that's something money can't buy. In addition to the time element - my hair looks better than ever. And it's been through a lot... Thanks for a GREAT product! I LOVE IT!

I am over 50 and my hair has started changing texture, it has become more coarse and frizzy. My hairstylist has been using it on me for quite a while and could never figure why the texture of my hair was so different after she had blown it versus my $20 hairdryer. Well, T3 is everything that I have read on the reviews and more. The frizz is under control, my hair is straighter, and I think it has more of a shine to it. It also seems to dry much faster than my old dryer. An added plus is that it's much lighter and quieter.
It is definitely worth the money.

I typically use a solano flat iron to straigthen my hair after blowing it out, but since buying this gem, I barely have to use the iron. My hair is more silky, straighter and healthier looking. It has more movement as well. I agree with others in that the buttons are not placed in the best spot because I hit it by accident, but that's such a small detail to me given how my hair looks. Def would recommend.
